The sky was jet black.

Just like her hair.

The scent of blood was high on the air.

Riding the wind closer to her shadow..

His face contorted into pain before it went blank..

And his eyes went dull..

Contrasting against his fleshy white skin..

She kept on telling herself, he wronged her..

He wronged me..

And what was his karma??

His own death.

Next to the ocean, where they shared their first kiss..

She looked up at the black starless sky.

Tears pooling in her eyes,

Making her vision swim with memories and open-mouthed secrets.

The tears rolled down her face, traveling down her throat, and into her blouse.

Blue eyes flashed violet.

While his eyes stared blankly up in hers, never changing..

Never will change again..

He was gone.

And she was renewed..

Like a fox dieing and becoming soil before helping something new take it's place..

She was new.

As she looked back down,

At the icy waves against the sunrise approaching,

Hair turning blonde against the sun,

Blue eyes drinking up green grass and Daffodils..

Skin soaking up the soft soil.

Then there was only one thing to remove.

So she could finally be free of him..

Her ring.

And as she took it off her ring finger she silently murmured to her self..

"Yes. I do. I do want to be free.."
