I woke up by the sound of my alarm feeling tired as usual but I get up anyways since it's my first day of school here. I turned my alarm off and checked my notifications. I smiled as I got a message from Kairi.

My heart fluttered after he said that. I blushed but I shrugged it off. I did my usual morning routine. I went to my close and picked an outfit. I decided to wear some simple but cute outfit today.

I checked the time and it was 7:27am. I went downstairs and went to the kitchen. I found a note stuck on the fridge. 'hi honey I made you breakfast for your first day. Me and your dad went to work early today. Have fun at school! Love, Mom' I smiled after reading the note. I went to the counter and found a plate of toast. I grabbed it and went outside. I opened the door and found Kairi smiling at me. How can I not fall for this boy?
We walked to school and chatted about random stuff. Suddenly, he grabbed my toast and took a bite of it. "Kairi! Give it back!" I said while trying to reach my toast out of his hand. "What? I'm hungry okay?" He said with a big smile on his face. "Ugh fine but don't eat too much" "okay fine! Sheesh"
We continued walking to school. We went inside and I went to my assigned locker. I checked my schedule and web to my class with Kairi's help. The first three period went by fast. It's now lunchtime.
I walked into the cafeteria and heard someone called my name. "Lorali!" I looked around to see who it was and as expected, it was Kairi. I went to his table and sat beside him. I said hi to his friends. Their names were Mattia, Alejandro, Alvaro, Roshaun, Robert, Victoria (Vic), Taylor and Laney. I can see myself getting along with them really well. They're very nice.
Mattia: are you and kairi a thing? Kairi: NO Kairi hit mattia's shoulder. I could see his face getting kinda red. Mine too actually. Alvaro: dude you're blushing don't deny it. They all started teasing me and Kairi. But after a few minutes, they already stopped with the teasing and we continued eating. Lunch is over and now we're on our way to our classes. I have the same class as Vic and Taylor.
-after school-
I walked outside and saw Kairi with a girl. They were being all touchy and stuff. Ew... I can clearly see Kairi wasn't enjoying it. Kairi looked around and saw me. I waved at him and then he walked towards me. We started walking together and i could see the girl he was with seems mad. I can't help but laugh at her reaction.
Me: who was that? Kai: Amy a.k.a the school's hoe. I fucking hate her guts Me: *laughs* well she deserves to be called that
We just laughed and talked all the way home.
Kai: me and the boys are hanging out today. I was wondering if you wanna join? Me: I'm down but where? Kai: at my house since my parents won't be home for a week. Me: sounds cool. I'll ask my mom.
We continued walking and we saw our houses. We said our goodbyes and went inside our houses.
