I went downstairs and saw my parents with another pair of couple with their son I'm guessing. He's kinda cute tho. Gosh Lorali stop. "Hey mom. What's up?" "Meet our neighbour. Mr and Mrs Cosentino" my mom said referring to the two elders standing in front of me. "Hi, I'm Lorali" i said with a smile and shook their hand. "Hi Lorali, nice to meet you. You're very pretty just like your mom! Anyways, meet our son Kairi. He will be helping you guys with the unpacking until everything is done. We need to go to the airport since my husband and I are going on a business trip," Kairi's mom said and patted my shoulder. I smiled and said "thank you, Mrs Cosentino. And nice to meet you, Kairi," I said and shook Kairi's hand.

Kairi's parents left my house while Kairi stayed. We started unpacking. Kairi and I went to my room to unpack my stuff since I have quite a lot. We went inside. "Wow your room is nice," he said. "Thank you," i replied with an awkward smile. Swear to god my awkward ass is legit screaming right now. We were busy unpacking until he spoke up. "So tell me about yourself. I wanna know you more," he said. Man he's such a gentleman. Ngl but that's hawt tho. Lorali stawp thinking like that he might read your mind. "Me? Oh well I'm Lorali. Pretty sure you already know about that," I said and he laughed. Damn that laugh was adorable. "I am.. 16, my parents told me that I'm going to Passaic Valley School located not so far from here. And I am a cheerleader. Also, I have a tiktok but I have no content lol 😂" "No way. We go to the same school!" He said and jumped excitedly. Who gave this kid so much sugar? "Interesting" i said. "I have tiktok too I'm quite famous if you wanna know 😏" he said smirking. I can't handle this guy ugh. We talked a lot and got to know each other and I have to admit, he's kinda attractive.

"My goodness Kairi stop being cocky" I said slapping my forehead slightly. We laughed in sync and continued unpacking. 40 minutes had passed, and we were done for the day. We went downstairs and I smelled something from the kitchen. I went there and found my mom cooking for dinner. "Hey mom," "Oh hey, sweetie! Have you done with your room?" "Yep," i said. "Did you guys did anything nasty upstairs??" My mom said raising her eyebrows. "Oh my god mom no!" At this point, my face is basically a whole fresh tomato.

I helped my mom serving the dishes on the dining table. We all sat down. I sat beside my dad and Kairi sat at the opposite of me. He smiled at me and winked. I blushed but I tried to cover up so no one would notice and I succeed. My heartbeat went faster. Why did I feel like this?

We started eating and my dad spoke up. "So Kairi, when will your parents get back from their business trip?" "Maybe in a week?" Kairi said while munching on his food. He looks like a chipmunk man that's adorable. "Well maybe you should stay here for the night since our daughter will be alone tonight," my mom said and looked at me. I widened my eyes and looked at my mom. "What? Mom why?" "Relax honey we just want you to make a new friend" my dad said and patted my back. "Ugh fine" i said and rolled my eyes. "Wear protection alright?" My dad said. "Dad!" I said and hit my dad's shoulder. I'm completely red and I literally sweating from embarrassment. I took a glance at Kairi and noticed a shade of pink on his face.
