Chapter 7 - Flint and Steel

%-Zak's
POV-%

I woke up, and my head was ringing. I don't remember what I did last, that made me have a hangover.
Maybe I was drinking? I could ask Dave. He doesn't drink. At least, I think he doesn't.
Oh, wait. That's not my head.
I thought, as I looked at my phone. Vincent and Clay were exploding my phone.
I decided to ignore the massive bomb that just went off in my phone and head downstairs for breakfast.
As I walked downstairs, the fresh hint of syrup hit me. Hah, pancakes. Bingo.
I quickly turned around and grabbed my phone, I got too curious.
As I read the messages, I got concerned. Clay was really worried, but Vincent was so happy.
Clay had told me Ian went missing, and he couldn't find him anywhere.
Vincent was extatic over the new kittens, Flint and Steel.
Vincent didn't know, Ian was missing.

Dave saw me, and heard me, running downstairs.
"Good morning, Zak. Or, good evening? It's 2:40." He sarcastically yawned, mocking me.
"At least I can edit videos, yknow?" I made a pan flipping action, to try mock him, but he started laughing. "What's so funny? Can't handle this pan flippin'?" I continued to make a pan flipping action, and he started choking on air.
"Dear lord- are you okay?" I said, running over and patting him on the back.
"lmao yeah" He continued making breakfast.
"Did you just say lmao out loud"
"Yeah, problem?"
"No- no problem here."

As I checked my messages, Clay told me he didn't want to tell Vincent. He'd just keep looking. As I told Dave, he looked like he knew something.
"What? What's wrong, d?"
I started laughing.
"First never call me 'd'.
Second, I know where Ian might be."

~*Clay's
POV*~

I, am nervous. Why? Because we just lost our cat. Ian. Poor cat, must be starved.. it's been 3 days. I'm worried sick.
Vincent doesn't know, not yet. Everyone but Vincent. I can't tell Vincent. It's his cat. It is his cat. He's going to lose it with me.
I went out looking for him, but he's nowhere to be found. I'm just glad Flint and Steel are okay. Their my favorite little fur babies.
"Vinny, hun." I scrolled on my phone.
"Yes, Clay?" The brunette said, paying full attention.
"I'm going out, if you need me, ring." I tied my shoelaces, and did up my coat. It was raining, and I was not sure if he saw the bag of cat food I put in my pocket.
Vincent walked over and ruffled my hair, "Okay, Blondie. Just be back before 5, okay?"
He had lovehearts in his eyes. Man, I can't tell him what happened. I'm going to find Ian.
