"God, I feel like I'm going to pop any day now." You groan, walking into the kitchen as one hand holds your back and the other holds your belly.
Zamira chuckles and rushes over to you, helping you sit on a chair.
"What are you two making?"
"Niko wanted to make spaghetti, so here we are," Zamira replies, pouring the stiff noodles into the boiling water.
"My Italian roots were calling me." Niko shrugs and opens the cans of sauce.
"Good! I haven't had spaghetti in a while."
"Boss," Leo walks into the kitchen and interrupts. "The new home security has been set up. Do you want to go try it out?"
"Yeah, sure," He turns to Zamira and gives her a smile.
Not the type of smile he gives you, an adored friend, but a smile that shows secretiveness.
"Can you take care of the noodles?"
"Sure." Zamira smiles back, but again, not the type of smile she gives you.
