Chapter 2

Sasuke's POV

I stole a quick glance at the Hyuga sitting next to me, her small delicate hand's placed on her soft rosy cheeks. I couldn't help but let a small smile form on my lips, I averted my eyes once she realized that I was looking at her. Unfortunately, my eyes made contact with a blond-haired idiot who was smiling at me and winking at me. I immediately frowned my brows at the blond and let out a sigh as I looked back to my books. I could hear the blond idiot giggle with his also annoying pink-haired girlfriend, I looked up sending deadly glares towards both of them as they both quickly choked down their laughter and looked forward.

Naruto: "man we did it now haha we pissed the devil off" Naruto whispered to Sakura

Sakura: "hehe yeah" Sakura replied to Naruto.

The two of them have been together for a year and a half i think now, yes before they got together Sakura did have a big thing for me. Everyone knew since the tree of us grew up together, I honestly couldn't care less and turned her down when she asked me out. I had my eyes set on someone else since we were children, no one could compare to her. Her indigo hair that went down to her shoulders at the time and her lavender eyes that looked like the moon, those same eyes that makes me forget where I am while they slowly pull me in just for a moment.

Kakashi: "mmm-hmm" he cleared his throat standing in the front of the class. Everyone's eyes darted to the front of the classroom giving Kakashi all their attention otherwise there would be hell to pay.

Kakashi: "Today I will be assigning your group project for the year, this project is worth half your grade you fail you repeat the year." Kakashi explained as he starts to write up the details about the assignment on the board.

Naruto: "WHAT?!!!! IF WE FAIL WE NEED TO REPEAT THE YEAR?!" Naruto said aloud shooting up from his chair.

Kakashi: "that's what I said now sit down if you don't want to get detention." Kakashi replied with a very stern voice causing the blond to flinch and sit back down.

Kakashi: " the assignment topic will be the future" Kakashi explained 

"EHHHHHH!" the whole class exclaimed confused.

Kakashi: "you will do a 3-page essay and presentation on what carers you want to pursue in the future and I will assign you in groups of 2 to make it easier as you can help each other" kakashi explained in a calmly matter. 

I couldn't help but wonder who I was going to be paired up with I looked over to my right at the indigo coloured beauty sitting next to me. It would be fun if I was paired up with her, I thought as I let a slight smirk dance upon my lips. I was quickly snapped out of my thought as Kakashi started to mention the groups.

Kakashi: " alright so the groups will be Ino and Kiba, Sakura and Naruto, Tenten and Shino, Temari and Shikamaru, Hinata and Sasuke" I didn't hear the rest of the groups after Kakashi had called the Hyugas name with mine. 

I turned to look at the Hyuga who's faced was flushed a bright red. 

Sasuke: "are you alright?" I said resting my elbow on my desk resting my cheek on my knuckles.

Hinata:" y...yes I'm o..okay," she said trying not to make eye contact with me her finger slowly making its way up to her lips trying to cover them. I was so captivated by her and I couldn't get my eyes off her until a certain blond interrupted my thought. 

Naruto: "hehe you get to work with Hinata here lucky you," the blond said with a irritating smirk upon his lips.

Sakura: "come on now Sasuke you don't need to frown so much" she said she went up next to the Hyuga.
