I managed to catch a squirrel and bird, it's not a whole lot, but enough for tonight. I had a few water bottles too for water. (A/N: no DUH for water, *face palm*)
By the time I got back to my campsite it was nearly dark. And I noticed there was some stuff missing from where I left my stuff. Which was weird b/c there wasn't many animals around, and I thought no one was following me...
I think I might've been wrong.
But I didn't worry about it because I was to worn out from the day. So I took my sleeping bag out of my pack, laid it down next to the fire I made and crawled in. I slowly drifted off into a night of dreamless sleep, finally.

I woke up with someone looking down on me.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHH" The other person and I screamed at the same time. I shit up while she stumbled back.
"Who are you?!" I yelled. The girl whimpered and fell back. Yet she stayed silent. That was really ticking me off.
"Answer me!!"
"Savannah." She whispered.
"What was that?" I asked harshly.
"My name. It's Savannah. And I didn't mean to scare you. I was just really hungry and tired and I thought you might've had something." Now I feel like crap.
"Did you happen to steal some of my food last night?" She nodded, tears were now slowly streaming down her face.
"I'm sorry! I was just so hungry, and I had been traveling for days. Everyone I know is dead! The world's practically ended! I'm tired! I'm sorry!" She cried, waving her hands everywhere, but they eventually ended up cradling her head.
"Shhhhh, it's okay, shhhhh" I whispered taking her into my arms and rocking back and fourth slowly as she sobbed into my shirt.
"You can stay with me if you want." I said, already regretting what I said.
"Really?" She asked hopefully, her light eyes making contact with my dark ones. Oh what was I going to do, this girl already had me under her trap.
"At least until you find somewhere else to go." She looked at me and grinned.
"Thank you thank you thank you!!!"
"Have you had anything to eat?" I asked.
"Yeah, I might've eaten the rest of that squirrel..." She mumbled, avoiding eye contact.
"Okay, well I'm gonna go hunt for some new food or myself, and once I fins h eating we can be on our way."

I'm sure you're wondering, "what happened to CJ?" And don't worry, that will soon play into the story. We are only on the 6th chapter!
I honestly don't think people have enough respect for si-if, especially on wattpad. Everyone only wants to read Fanfiction, Or romance. SI-FI IS GOOD TOO PEOPLE!!!!
Anyways, I really want this book to have more reads so if you could tell your buddies about it and see if they could check it out that would be AWESOME!!!!
Now to tell you what book I'm reading and what book I'm recommending.
Reading: Normal-172 Hours On The Moon (still) Wattpad- Uglies (still, sorry! It's only been a few days!
Recommending: The Matched Series, it so good! Especially if your looking for a good dystopian romance. It's a little like Unravel Me in the romance dystopian setting, but the whole plot is a lot different. It's basically about this girl who lives in a society where the government controls everything about your life. Where you live, where you work, and who you love and marry. You basically have no free will in those respects. Except this girl, falls in love with someone she's not "Matched" with. It's just a really good book and you should go read it!!!
