Pop!
A few weeks had already passed.
You scrolled through your phone, checking social media. You sat in a chair, waiting for the popcorn to finish microwaving. You weren't sure which taste each of the skeletons would prefer, so you decided to make use of all of the flavors you had available in different bowls.
You made it very clear that if they did anything to damage your property, you'd kick all their non-existent bony asses to kingdom come.
After sending that inspiring message, you left them alone to explore your entire property. They were astounded by how large your estate was—flowers of various colors and species were displayed in the garden, while the vast glass dome of the greenhouse covered everything, providing a wonderful perspective. They were even more surprised when they learned you had a pool with a flowing fountain in it.
Seriously, what type of person would you be to own such things? The Mafia?
One of them eventually noticed the roof lock and became fascinated, but you refused to let them investigate further because that was the only spot you prevented them from entering without your permission. The rooftop was a very exclusive space dedicated to you and a specific individual.
One of your online friends sent you a cute cat video, which made you laugh out loud. That got you thinking—you've always wanted a cat but never had the time to make a solid decision. Perhaps in the future.
After putting your phone back in your pocket, you rose up to stretch your arms before heading into the living room to check on your guests. The popcorn was going to take a while to microwave anyhow, so you might as well check on them.
Sans sat in a lounge chair, watching everyone interact with a languid smile on his face, while Red had taken up the entire couch, leaving no place for anyone else. Blue and Ink sat together on the floor, with a spare fluffy blanket you had discovered placed beneath them. Dance and Lust sat next to each other, but on separate chairs because Dance refused to let him come close. Dust and Horror were the ones that were furthest away from the group; you had a feeling their relationships went deeper than merely acquaintances.
Error just sat alone in an armchair.
"(Y/N)! COME SIT WITH ME!" Blue piped up happily when he saw you, patting the area on the floor next to him. "IS THE FOOD READY?"
"Not yet, Blue." You made him call you by your name now, not the term 'human.' You made yourself comfortable beside him as your eyes watched the screen before you. They haven't touched the remote control yet, and that made you realize they were just waiting for you. How considerate of them!
"So... did anything catch your eye yet?" You chuckled knowingly as you saw Blue's shoulder stiffen from the question. Red was the one who suggested watching something scary in the first place, so you took this chance to only put the scariest options on screen for them to choose from. "I can help you choose if you want."
What? There's nothing wrong with having a bit of fun every once in a while.
"W-WELL," Blue pointed a hesitant finger towards the screen, and you had to keep your excitement in check as soon as you saw what it was. Of course, they chose the scariest one, coincidentally enough. "WE ALL AGREED ON THIS ONE! THE STORY LOOKS PRETTY PROMISING!"
"Are you sure you guys want to watch this?" You still asked out of concern since you wanted to make sure they knew they still had the option to back out. "This one, in particular, is scary."
"Heh, what's wrong with a little horror, anyway?" Horror chuckled to himself. "I'm sure we can handle it."
"Well, if you insist." You heard the microwave ding, so you stood up. "That's the popcorn! I hope you guys don't mind waiting for a bit; I'll be back soon."
