Shiv pov

I was lost in my thoughts when om shook me out and raise an eyebrow asking what happened

I replied with a small smile and shook my head in negative

After the wedding I have to talk to anika, it's time to tell her everything I know she will freak out but I hope she will forgive me

Then I saw her coming towards the mandap and stood beside bhavya she is looking disturb, what happened?

She is looking at me with some emotions I can't read.... What happened to her suddenly

After the wedding we will did some post wedding rituals and it's 2 am in morning and I asked everybody to head towards there room

I tried to find Anika but she wasn't there, I think she must be tried so she must had went to her room

I decided that I will talk to her tomorrow and started walking towards my room as soon as I enter in my room I saw Anika standing near the glass window with her back in front of me

"Anika what are you doing here you should be at your room"I said and took few steps towards her

"You wanted to talk to me"she said turning towards me

"Firstly I'm really sorry Anika I couldn't able to come yesterday actually there was an emergency, I'm really sorry and secondly I think it's quite late we will talk tomorrow"I said but she frowned

"No we will talk now only, tell me what you are hiding shivaay"she yelled in anger and I frowned

"Anika I ......" I started but she cut me off

"Don't you dare lie to me again shivaay I know about shanaya and adi and now I want to know the truth, I just can't believe this you can tell this to adi too but not me why Shivaay" she said in anger and I sighed

"You want to know the truth right the truth is shanaya is not my wife"I said and her eyes widened in shock and her jaw dropped

Ani POV

I just don't know what is wrong with shivaay he is behaving weirdly since last week

I can't take this anymore I will go and confront him face to face

I decided and went to the oberoi mansion, his mother and father was having a discussion when I entered

"What are you doing here"his mother said with a frown

I know she don't like me

"Aunty I want to meet shivaay, where is he"I said and she smirked

"He is not here, he is with his fiance spending time with her"she replied and my heart sank, it feels like somebody had just punched in my guts with full force, and eyes started brimming in my eyes

"No you are lying he can't do this, he loves me, we both love each other and he promised he will never leave me" I said in crying tone

"Well it's true and soon he is getting married too and you are cordially invited"she said and I felt I will gonna faint

"Anika"I heard shivaay's voice and turned he was standing at the entrance and I ran and hugged him tightly, tears started following from my eyes, I was so emotional at that time that I didn't realize that he didn't hugged me back

"Shivaay where were you, I called you so many times why didn't you answered my calls, see what aunty is saying she is saying you have a fiance and they are planning your wedding, shivaay plz tell them that you love me"I said and pulled away

"This is all a lie right, you love me right"I asked and looked into his eyes but this times there wasn't that warmth, that love is there which I witness everyday in his eyes, his eyes were blank as well as his face

"Yes shivaay tell her that you don't love her and you are already engaged" said Mrs oberoi with confidence

"Shivaay why aren't you saying anything tell your mom that you are not getting married and you love me" I said clutching his collar tightly hoping that he will soon handle the situation

"Yes mom I'm not getting married"he said and I smiled but not for long when he said the another sentence "becoz I already got married"he said and I felt like my heart stopped

I looked at him with shock and tears were continuously flowing from my eyes

"Shivaay"I whisper

"Yes, meet my wife shanaya Singh oberoi" he said and then I saw her standing behind him looking little nervous

"Shivaay what is this"his dad shouted but I was numbly standing there looking at him

"Srry dad but I had to do, I love shanaya and you guys also want that right"he said and with a blank face

"But son this is not a way, you didn't think about your parents feelings"his mother said and he remained silent this time

"No this can't happen you are lying, right this is a prank you can't do this with me"I said

"No Anika I love shanaya and we are married if you don't believe me that see this"he said and handed a the marriage certificate in my hand

I felt betrayed and hurt, it was so difficult to survive the pain

"I'm having an press conference today and I will announce shanaya as my wife so go and get ready" he said and grabbed shanaya's hand and went upstairs

Flashback ends

"The certificate was fake and it was all a lie"I said and she still was in same shocked mode

I know I hurt her a lot and I don't deserve her forgiveness all these years she suffered a lot becoz of me

"Why?" She asked while sobbing

I knew it, I knew if I will tell her about my fake marriage I have to tell her why I did it too but I don't know I should tell this or not

Flashback
Shiv pov

"Where are you?" I said in a tensed voice

"I'm driving and on a way to my apartment"Anika replied on phone

"Anika, listen to me carefully reach home as soon as you can and locked the door don't open it for anybody except me alright"I said in a terrified voice

"What happened shivaay are you alright" she asked with concern

"Yes I'm aright just take care of yourself and reach home fast"I said

"Oh shit!!" She yelled and I fear engulfed me

"What happened"I asked

"Shivaay brakes are not working"she said in a fearful voice

"What? Where are you?..." I heard a loud crash and my heart sank and my body got number on the spot

"Anika"I shouted and a tear dropped from my eye

Flashback ends

"Why? Why you did this shivaay, becoz of your lie I suffered so much all these years did you have any idea how I felt when you did all that, you played with our lives shivaay, why you did this"she yelled and I closed my eyes and sighed loudly

I can't tell her the whole truth, I will put her in danger again

"I knew you will eventually tell her the truth"I heard a familiar voice and open my eyes with a jerk and shocked to see the man standing in front of me
