With courage and the citizenship the Maharana's family did't gave up and built an other kindom , Udaipur also known as the "City of Lakes", is a city in the state of Rajasthan in India.It is the historic capital of the kingdom of Mewar in the former Rajputana Agency. It was founded in 1558 by Maharana Udai Singh II ,when he shifted his capital from the city of Chittorgarh to Udaipur after Chittorgarh was besieged by Akbar. It is hundred times better then chittor.It took 3 years to built a new capital,Mharana partab tried to make an alliance with the rajput kings and for most of the part he was successful.Rana udai Singh died because of sickness and Maharana partab was given the crown of Mewar.
