The Battle of Haldighati was a battle fought on 18 June 1576 between cavalry and archers supporting the Rana of Mewar, Maharana Pratap, and the Mughal emperor Akbar's forces, led by Man Singh I of Amber. 15,000 men in the mewari army and about 100,000 in the Mughal army, but still they fought with courage and braveness. The Mughals originally Akbar the ruler of the Mughals bring more than 100,000 men but to get to the ground of Haldighati they had to cross a forest, mountains etc. The mewari army used a tactic called guerrilla warfare and reduced the number of the Mughal army. During the war maharana, part general killed most of Akbar's generals meanwhile when bahlol Khan killed maharana's sister's husband, so maharana sliced bahlol Khan into 2 pieces.
Before historians use to say the maharana if Mewar lost the war to Akbar but now the historian says that the war was won by Maharana partab because if he had lost the war why would Akbar attack Rajputana six more times.
