"McKenzie... Intern journalist, huh?"
Juliet McKenzie, aged 19, intern journalist. On the first day of her job, she arrived at Raccoon City Police Department, only to be thrown into a never-ending nightmare. She met rookie cop Leon S. Kennedy, and two ventured the dark hallways of the precinct.
"You and me, we'll stick together. I'll protect you. That's a promise."
"A Kennedy promise?"
"A Kennedy promise."
Juliet reunited with Claire Redfield, her best friend since young, who was searching for her older brother Chris who went missing. Claire was also looking for a young girl by the name of Sherry Birkin, who she met in the station. She vowed to protect the girl from the dangers and promised to rejoin them later. The two best friends shared a brief hug before splitting up.
The duo then encountered FBI agent Ada Wong, who claimed to be on official business. Juliet was distrustful of Ada from the very start. Juliet and Ada never got along, and the two constantly fought for Leon's attention.
"I don't give a damn whether you are the FBI or not... We're all trying to survive here, so how about you stop acting like an ignorant, self-centred bitch for once?"
Fighting against huge monsters and creatures they've never imagined of, the survivors overcame all odds and escaped the horrors of Raccoon City. Juliet and Leon shared a moment of bliss, confessing their love for each other. Unfortunately, that moment was far too short.
"Will you wait for me? Even when I'm gone?"
"Forever and always."
