"Don't lose her!" a voice yelled.

"I won't!"

Gunshots were heard. Helena and Juliet picked up the pace. Below them, Leon had already engaged in hand-to-hand combat with someone. Ada was being held at gunpoint by someone else in a military uniform. Leon and the other man were equally matched. They put distance in between them and drew out their guns. It took a second for them to recognise each other. Juliet and Helena finally caught up. Juliet's eyes widened at the older male.

"Chris!"

She hugged him tightly, and he returned the embrace. Leon lowered his gun.

"Juliet, what the hell are you doing here? You shouldn't be involved in all this," Chris said, pushing the hair out of her face to get a better look at her.

"Compared to Raccoon City, I think this is like a grand vacation," she said, letting out a dry laugh.

"Raccoon?! Wait, you were-" Chris composed himself. He sighed loudly, "Of course. It was your first day, and I wasn't even there. I'm sorry, Juliet. I don't think I was ever a good big brother. Not to Claire, and definitely not to you."

Ada coughed loudly, getting everyone's attention back on her. She smirked at them. Chris raised his gun again, which prompted Leon to do the same. Juliet quickly got in between them. Chris was angered that Leon was protecting Ada, who had killed all his men. Leon calmly told Chris that everything was Simmons' doing. Ada saw a chance to escape, and she took it. She threw a flash grenade at the group, temporarily blinding them. Chris' lieutenant was hot on her heels. Helena ran after him, worried that he would kill her. Leon pulled her back. He turned to Chris.

"We both want the same thing here," Leon said. "I know you'll do the right thing."

"All right. The B.S.A.A will handle Ada. You take care of Simmons."

The two men shared a nod of respect. Chris turned to Juliet. He placed both his hands on her shoulders. He dusted off dirt on his leather jacket. He smiled fondly.

"You make this look good," he complimented. "After all this shit ends, we're having a huge family dinner. You, me and Claire. No exceptions."

"Got it. Be careful, Chris," she whispered.

He nodded, then planted a soft kiss on her forehead. His expression quickly turned serious when he looked at Leon.

"Take care of her," Chris instructed before rushing off after his lieutenant.

It sounded like a warning. Leon mumbled a soft "yes, sir" under his breath. At that short but tense moment, Leon felt like he was back at the academy all over again. Helena stepped up beside them.

"Can we rely on him?" she asked.

"Of course," he replied without hesitation. "I trust him. Let's find Simmons."

The trio went in the opposite direction. They headed out of the centre and eventually reached the Kwun Lung Building. Sherry and Jake were nowhere to be seen. However, Simmons was there, along with his team. He scowled upon seeing them. His team raised their machine guns.

"Well, this is unexpected. The two pesky agents, and the annoying journalist..."

At that moment, Sherry and Jake arrived on scene. She immediately ran towards Simmons and yelled for him to stop.

"Ah, Agent Birkin. Impeccable timing. Kindly take these three into custody, won't you?"

Sherry was still hurt by the revelation. She demanded Simmons to tell the truth, but he disregarded it. Simmons gave the order for his men to attack. They hurriedly took cover behind the crates. Simmons yelled at his men not to shoot at Sherry and Jake.

"You need to be more careful," Leon told Sherry.

"All right, all right. What's the plan, hero?" Jake asked Leon.

Leon spotted a door to the right. He told Jake and Sherry to make a run for it. Jake wanted to help them finish Simmons, but Leon needed him to take care of Sherry. Sherry took out a small memory card and handed it to Juliet. She stated that there was information about the C-Virus stored inside, and Simmons wanted to get his hands on it. Leon offered to call in to F.O.S to get the two extra protection. Simmons' men shot at them again. Juliet and Sherry shared a brief hug. Leon gave them the signal, and everyone moved out. The trio provided cover for them. Sherry and Jake made it safely to the other side.

"He's getting away!" Helena pointed out.

Simmons had been attacked by an unknown enemy. He clutched his neck in pain and was running away from them. Leon urged the two women to quickly follow Simmons. Avoiding fire from his men, the trio managed to get on board the moving train Simmons was on. They ran all the way to the front of the train. The emergency hatch was open, and Leon boosted the two ladies up first. They finally came face-to-face with Simmons, who was writhing in pain while on the phone.

"Give it up, Simmons. We've got you," Leon ordered, pointing his gun at him.

The two women followed suit. Simmons threw his phone away. He faced the three of them in anger.

"You still chase me while that woman is on the loose?"

"What woman?" Leon questioned.

"That traitor, Ada Wong. Who knows what she's got in store."

Leon pursed his lips. Juliet, on the other hand, scoffed.

"You don't have to worry about her, Simmons. The B.S.A.A was sent after her. But you, Simmons, you're all ours."

Simmons mocked them for being foolish and wanting to avenge the people they've lost. He blatantly told them that another disaster had to happen to stop the President from disclosing the truth about Raccoon City. All of a sudden, he dropped down to his knees and yelled in pain. He combusted into flames. He completely transformed into a beast resembling a jaguar. It leapt at them, but they ducked. It landed on the other side and roared. Without warning, it charged at them. However, it stopped short after being shot multiple times in the head. It transformed back to its original form.

They ran past Simmons and dropped down into the carriage. Simmons managed to throw an insult before turning back into the beast. It began chase, and the trio put as much as distance as they could between them. Eventually, it crawled out of the carriage and onto the top. They quickly strategised. While Leon lured Simmons, the two women would take him down from both sides. However, that only angered Simmons. It let out another roar before getting out onto the train tracks. It was as fast as the train. A rail gun came out from its back and began shooting at them. It suddenly ran ahead and came to a stop in front of them. With a growl, it charged right towards them.

"End of the line, Simmons," Juliet spat.

With one shot straight from her wingshooter, it incapacitated Simmons. However, it collided into the front of the train and they fell down hard. Leon hurriedly brought Juliet up to her feet. The train was already off the tracks and would crash at any time. The trio ran to the edge of the train.

"JUMP!" Leon yelled.
