Ethan scratches his head. It's been a few minutes since he stumbled into a hard question in the math exercises that his teacher gave him.
Deciding that he couldn't do anymore homework, he closes the exercise book and went down to the kitchen to prepare for the lunch box for tomorrow. When he reached the living room, he met with Jack, who's watching some random channel on the television.
"Hey, what's up?" Jack greets him and put up his hand. "Hi." Ethan replies. Then, he headed towards the hallway to the kitchen.
"Whatcha doing?"
"I'm preparing the ingredients for the lunch box tomorrow."
Jack stood up and walked near Ethan. "Don't forget to make a portion for yourself too. I'll find you if you only make lunch box for me, okay?" He bent his back slightly, almost meeting his nose with Ethan's. His blue eyes stared at Ethan's emerald green eyes.
Ethan blushed and pushed Jack away. He almost his his back towards the corner of the side of the door but was caught by Jack. He held Ethan's back. "Be careful there, don't want you to get hurt." He smiled and let Ethan go before going to the kitchen.
Ethan clenched his trousers and blushed. 'what is wrong with him?' he thought as he walked towards the refrigerator to defrost a chicken. "Need any help?" Jack asked. "Nothing in particular. But if you want to help chopping the vegetables, that would be very helpful." Ethan took out some carrots and potatoes, and handed it to Jack.
"Vegetables?"
"I'm making vegetables stew for tomorrow. Might as well make some chicken patties and mixed rice to eat with it."
"But I dislike vegetables." ):
"Jack, eat." -_-

"Hey." Rudick tapped Jack's shoulders and sat on the seat in front of him. The class for that day just ended and all the students already went home. "Yo." He said and took out the lunch box from under the table.
"Yo man, what's that?" Rudick raised an eyebrow. "Hm? Oh, it's a lunch box made by Ethan." Jack said casually.
"Huh? Wait what? That guy can cook?" Rudick strained his laugh.
"What? You think he didn't know how to cook?" -_-
"No, I mean, most of the guys in this school didn't know how to cook, especially we're just high school kids."
"Yeah, most of us, not all." Jack opened the lid of the container containing the vegetable stew.
Rudick took a peek.
"Woah..." His eyes widen in awe. His mouth gapes slightly and drool almost fell from his gaped mouth. "Dude, gross!" Jack punched his friend's arm. "Ouch! I'm sorry okay. But honestly..." He glanced at the vegetable stew again. "That sure looks good. And the color of the vegetables didn't fade away. Amazing." He rubbed his punched arm while Jack opened another lid to reveal mixed aromatic rice and chicken patties with sauce.
"Wow, what the hell man?!" He said in shock. "He made not one, but two lunch boxes for you? You sure he isn't in love with you?" He grinned.
"Shut up before I smack you for real, Rudick." Jack glared at him and started to eat. "You can taste a bit of the stew. I dislike vegetables anyway." He munched on the rice. "Yes!" Rudick said happily and took a spoon from the small container and sipped the soup.
"This is amazing!" He said again before continuing on sipping the soup. "Hey, I said a bit, right?" Jack blocked Rudick's face with his palm. "Oomph! But you said I could had it." Rudick pouted. "A bit, I said." -_-
