Chapter Nineteen

Alexandra's POV
     It's been four years now since Logan and I got married and it's been six years since he's been back home with me and the kids. Wade is now ten, Annabeth is almost five and we were planning on having our third and final child. I was now thirty five so my days of having kids was coming to an end and recently I've been trying to get pregnant but it just hasn't happened.
      We had the babies room all prepared and we still had a lot of the same baby clothes from when Wade and Annabeth had been little. It's been tough the last few weeks just because of the whole not being able to have kids thing. We knew it would be harder the older I became but it was definitely stressing us out. This was now our third time trying and I felt like my body had maybe given up on me. I knew I wasn't that old, but my Mom had also had a hard time getting pregnant with my younger sister Catherine as well.
       After two negative pregnancy tests I looked at myself in the mirror and I felt myself wanting to cry. Just as I was about to let myself go, Logan knocked on the door
"Alex can I come in?" he asked
"yea" I said
"what were they?" he asked
"what do you think?" I said
"Alex it'll happen" he said
"when Logan?" I asked him
      He could tell I was about to cry to he pulled me into a hug and we sat on the floor
"hey, shhhh" he said
"we shouldn't of waited this long Logan. I'm too old" I said
"Alex you aren't too old. I know some woman who still had kids at forty" he said
"you're only thirty five" he said
"I... I want to have another baby Logan" I said
"we will" he said
"sometimes life doesn't always go as planned" he said
      I laid on his shoulder and in his arms for a while and he held me.
"hey, you know it's time to go get Annabeth and Wade from school" he said
"you want me to just go get them?" he asked
"no I'll come with you" I said
"alright" he said as he helped me off the floor
"Alex, we will have another baby" he said
     I tried to smile as he kissed me and then we got into the car and headed to the school. Wade was now in fifth grade and Annabeth was in her second year of full day kindergarden.
"hey guys" I said as they came running into the car
"hey Mom Tyler's having a sleep over on Friday, can I go?" Wade asked
"sure if you get all you're homework done and Dad and I have to check your grades first" I said
"Mommy can I go too?" Annabeth asked
"no sweetie. This is for the big kids, but we'll do something fun" I said
"what are we doing tonight?" Wade asked
"well homework is first. Either me or Dad can help you" I said
"I just have one paper for english and some questions due for history" he said
"okay. Well maybe the four of us and Levon can go to the park after homework is done" I said
We got home and the kids took their shoes off and threw their bags down
"how are they that big already?" I asked as Logan came in from the car
"time goes by fast" Logan said
"hey Mom I'm making a snack first then I'll do homework" Wade said
"okay honey" I said
"do you need help with any homework tonight Wade?" I asked him
"no I think I'm okay" he said
"okay. Just let Dad or I check it over for spelling errors" I said
Wade finished making him and Annabeth cheese and crackers and then he went to the dining room table to start his homework and Annabeth played with Levon
"you okay?" Logan asked when he noticed I was quiet
"yea... just thinking about things" I said
"you know, we can always try again later tonight" he said as he kissed my neck
"that sounds like a good plan" I said smiling back at him
"Alex I know you've been down about the baby... but I promise we will have another kid" he said
We were sitting at the counter bar stool and I scooted over and laid my head on his shoulder.

Half an hour later we were now out in the tv room on the couch with Levon and Wade brought in his homework
"okay I'm done" he said handing us each a piece of paper
Logan and I read over his two papers and they both looked good
"you're good. Just go change out of your uniform please before you go outside" I said
"okay, thanks Mom!" he said
I snuggled back up into Logan's side until Wade came back down in a t-shirt and jeans and he brought out his soccer ball
"Dad come play soccer with me!!" he said
"alright buddy" Logan said
"you coming?" Logan asked me
"I'm coming" I said as I got off the couch
"Mommy play with me and Levon!" Annabeth said
"okay sweetie" I said
I watched as Logan and Wade played in one half of the yard and Ananbeth and I played with Levon in the other half. We stayed outside until around six thirty which was dinner time.
"alright guys wash your hands and help set the dinner table please" I said
"what are we doing for dinner tonight?" Logan asked me
"whatever's easiest. I was thinking spaghetti?" I asked
"that sounds good" he said
"hey Wade it's your turn to feed Levon tonight" I said
"okay" he said
       Levon was fed, and we got dinner ready within half an hour. We usually ate dinner at home but sometimes on the weekends we went out to eat.
"Mom what do we have for dessert?" Wade asked
"we have some ice cream in the freezer I think" I said
      There were usually limited desserts in the house as Logan and I both believed in eating healthy but we usually had ice cream or home made cookies for the kids. Wade did the dishes and Annabeth helped me dry them and put them away. Later that evening we watched some tv until eight thirty which was the kids bed time. Both of the kids were really good about going to bed unless there was something going on the next day.

     Logan and I stayed up until about eleven which was our normal bed time
"finally we have some time to ourselves" he said
      He leaned over and gently kissed me and I happily kissed him back. We didn't sleep together as often as when we first got married but we were still intimate together at least twice a week
"Logan" I moaned when he began to touch me
"feel good baby?" he asked me
"yes" I said
"we... we should go upstairs" I said
        Logan picked me up and I wrapped my legs around his waist and he carried me upstairs. As he laid me on the bed he took his shirt off and I took my tank top off. He was still kissing down my neck and onto my breasts as I felt his hand slip inside my shorts
"Logan" I moaned
"patience Alex" he said
        I felt my body begin to tingle the longer he touched me. I felt him untie the strings on my shorts and he pushed them down my legs
"I think you have too much clothing on" I said as I sat up and he let me undo his jeans
Now we were both in just our underwear and when I laid down he slid my panties down my legs.
"ready for some fun?" he asked
Once his boxers were off, he was on top of me again and he leaned down to kiss me. I moaned slightly when I felt him enter me gently
"ohhh baby you feel good" he said
He thrust slowly and gently into me which felt so good.
"more Logan, I need more" I asked
He sped up his pace as he thrust harder into me which caused a loud moan to escape
"quiet" he said
"unless you want the kids to walk in on us" he said
"you just feel good" I said
We usually lasted about twenty minutes before we climaxed. I came first and Logan usually came shortly after. We collapsed onto the bed, breathless but happy.
"we need to do this more often" I said
"well I can't argue with that" Logan said as he rolled over smiled at me
"we should get some sleep" he said
"I love you" I said
"I love you too" he said
He pulled the covers over us and kissed me again before turning the light off

AUTHORS NOTE:
To anyone confused of the age and time jumps, chapter one begins in 2021. The two in real life broke up at the end of 2016 which is in my story when Logan leaves. So it starts in a five year time jump to 2021 because in my story Alex's son is almost 5 years old.
So now Alex and Logan have been back together six years so it's been six years since 2016. Alex was born in 1986, and Logan was born in 1992.

• Alex six years later in 2027 would be 35
• Logan six year later in 2027 would be 29
