jisung and minho met at the bus stop the very next day, both of them feeling extremely uncomfortable.

after what happened yesterday afternoon, the two of them had completely avoided each other.

minho spent the rest of his day in his room, mentally punching himself for getting so close to him. jisung spent the rest of the day in the garden, trying to forget about what had happened.

"uh, hey. good morning" minho says as he awkwardly waves to jisung.

jisung shuffles closer to him, "good morning" his tone was stiff and awkward as he didn't know how to react after their extremely close encounter the previous day.

minho coughs awkwardly, shifting his weight from one foot to the other as he tried to think of something to say.

"the weather's pretty good, isn't it?" minho says out of nervousness, instantly regretting the moment the words left his mouth.

minho frowns, the weather? really? that's the worst thing to talk about.

fortunately for minho, jisung lets out a small laugh at what minho had said, breaking the tensed atmosphere.

"yeah, the weather's really good" jisung nods along with minho.

the bus comes shortly after, and minho pays for the bus fare.

the bus driver frowns a little, and stops minho. "wait, young man. you just paid the fare for two people"

minho nods, "yeah, i'm paying for two people"

the bus driver looks around in confusion, "where's the other guy?" minho turns to look at jisung, who was busy laughing at the situation.

"um, don't worry about it. just consider it as a tip from me?" minho says, trying to get the bus driver to forget about it.

he stares at minho for a short while, before shaking his head as he turns back to look at the front. "youngsters these days" he sighs.

jisung and minho go up to the upper deck, choosing the seat right at the back. there wasn't a lot of people on the bus since it was a weekday.

as usual, jisung sits by the window seat and starts looking out, admiring the scenery.

"seoul's really far from here. it takes almost two hours. it's good that we left early so that we can spend more time in seoul" minho says as he takes something out from his bag.

jisung nods as he tries to see what minho took out, "what's that?"

minho takes out a piece of folded paper and hands it to jisung. "it's your bucket list. i brought it along so we can figure out what else to do in seoul other than going to the carnival, which only opens in the evening"

jisung takes the paper from minho's hands, slowly reading it. "ah, i barely even remember what i wrote in here. there's only a few legitimate wishes, the rest are just bullshit. i mean, look at this. why did i even wish for a unicorn?"

jisung splutters at his own wishes, making minho laugh.

"he's so cute" minho says under his breath, catching the attention of jisung, who instantly turns his head to face minho.

"what?" jisung tries to get minho to repeat what he said earlier on. minho frantically shakes his head, waving his hands around.

"ah, i was just saying how the scenery was really nice" minho lies through his teeth as he looks out the window, pretending to be interested in the scenery outside.

jisung pursed his lips, nodding as he pretends to believe minho. in reality, jisung had heard minho loud and clear, but he figured it would be too awkward if minho realised that he heard him.

besides, after reading minho's diary, jisung had basically already figured minho was sort of attracted to him. jisung wasn't complaining though, since he couldn't deny the fact that he might've taken a liking for minho as well.

he just couldn't come to terms with the fact that a human and ghost were attracted to each other. it just sounded wrong for all the wrong reasons. they were from two different worlds, and things should stay that way.

jisung closes his eyes and shakes his head, trying to clear his mind from all those thoughts. he reads his list once again, looking for something the both of them could do in seoul.

his eyes widens and his lips curve up in a smile as he reads one of his wishes. "hey, what about this one? i wished to take photos at a photobooth. i heard that there are plenty of those in seoul"

minho looks over as he reads the wish. "that sounds great! let's do that once we get there"

jisung smiles in satisfaction, he can't believe that he was finally going to seoul. with someone else. he wasn't going to be alone anymore.

minho takes out his phone which was already connected to his earbuds. "we have two hours to go. i've added a few new songs into the playlist. you'll like it" minho says as he hands jisung one side of the earphones.

jisung smiles gratefully at minho before putting it into his ear, hearing the soft melodies slowly flood his ear.

thankfully, the lady who sat at the front of the bus didn't bother questioning why one side of the earbuds were floating mid air.
