"WHO ARE YOU STARING AT, CHASE?" Adam asked.

Right as they exited second period, a certain girl caught Chase's eye. His semi-lifeless expression morphed into a small smile, him staring wistfully at the girl just a few lockers away. She leaned against the locker beside hers as she grabbed her A.P. English textbook.

"Aww, does Chase-y have a crush?" Bree teased, poking at him playfully. Chase's eyes snapped away from Cher, pushing Bree away.

Chase groaned, "I do not! She was just really nice to me earlier and I was looking out for her. That's all."

Leo rolled his eyes, scoffing. "Who are you talking about, the lunch lady?" Bree and Adam laughed as Chase seethed in annoyance, his siblings' laughter seeming endless.

"Actually, her name's Cher, Cher Holloway." Chase answered, hoping it would shut them up for good. But, the exact opposite happened as Leo's eyes bugged out of his head.

"Cher? Cher Holloway? As in tall, popular, pretty, cheerleader, valedictorian of our middle school and freshman year here, popular, that Cher Holloway?" Leo questioned.

Chase was confused, but then noticed Cher's cheer pin on the side of her bag and realized that it had to be her. "I mean, when you put it that way, I guess." He muttered.

Leo laughed. "Dude, she is totally out of your league. I mean, look at her! The only thing you two have in common is intelligence, and I still think she might be able to crush you in that area too!"

Chase, in perfect Chase-fashion, pivoted to face Leo doubtfully. "Me, be beaten by her? No way. I'm the smartest person in the world and no one, not even her, is going to beat me there." Chase laughed.

Leo's expression didn't change. "Are you kidding? She could even beat you in an arm wrestle."

Chase scoffed, "How?"

"Oh, come on, look at your tiny little body," Adam said, pitching up his voice to nearly Fred-levels. "Anyone could beat you in an arm wrestle, except maybe Leo."

"Hey! My muscles are very firm."

Leo opened his mouth to continue, but the questioning looks of the Davenports made him snap his mouth shut.

Chase continued and answered Adam's proposition, "Well, we don't know that. The only people I've seen before yesterday are you and Bree. Everyone here is normal. For all we know I could be able to beat quite a few people."

Leo already was done with Chase's fantasies. "You do realize that cheerleaders do weight training and have to lift and hold each other up everyday, right?"

"Yeah, and we have bionic training everyday." Chase responded.

Leo cringed, "Well, it ain't doing anything for your muscles."

Chase gasped, holding his arm like he had just been attacked. With perfect timing, the one minute bell rang, making it where he couldn't respond to Leo's words. The aspiring students realized that they had to leave now, or else they'd be late to class. The siblings, quickly shouting last words at each other, ran off to their classes, just barely making it on time, once again.

CHER JUST FINISHED CHANGING FOR fourth period p.e. when a girl she vaguely recognized, but couldn't put a name to, walked in with a locker combination paper. Her locker was barely noticeable from where Cher stood. She put in the combination, but every time she tugged and pulled on the lock, it wouldn't open.
