Toni handed me 8 dresses and told me to go try them on while she and Jughead sat in the living room.
The first dress was out even before I tried it on. It was a long gown with sequins sewn into it. The second dress was prettier. It was a shorter semi low-cut dress that was silver and sparkly but had flowers near the top. I put it on and went out to the living room.

When I walked out to the living room, Toni was clapping her hands. "Oh my god! That dress looks so good on you." Jug just shifted in his seat and stared at me.
"Juggie? Do you like it?" I asked him.
"Yeah. It's very pretty on you Juliet."
"Thank you," I say as I walked back to the bathroom to try on the next dress.
The next dress was a blush pink skater dress with a knitted overlay and was low-cut. I really liked this dress.

When Juggie saw me his eyes widened and his jaw hit the floor. "Like what you see Juggie?" I asked him seductively. He shifted in his seat very uncomfortably and licked his lips. Toni just watched us until she finally cleared her throat. We both looked over at her. "I think this dress is gorgeous Betty. It's innocent enough but still has a flair of rebel in it."
"Okay thank you."
I went back into the bathroom and tried on the 4th dress. It was a long sleeve blush pink dress with blue flowers on it. It was beautiful and sophisticated.
Jughead was the one clapping this time. "Wow Betts, you look so, so sophisticated. I love it." Toni, however, didn't like this one as much "This one's okay, but it's more for a modest outing, like going to dinner or something."
