Oblivion – A poem by Augustus Waters

I feared oblivion.

I feared it like Isaac, the future blind man who’s afraid of the dark.

I feared my life would end too quickly.

I feared being forgotten.

Feared: present tense.

All I fear now is:

Not being with her, not being something to her.
