Pre-Funeral

Augustus chose to have a funeral,

His own funeral,

Just the three of us;

Isaac, Augustus and I.

Back in the literal heart of Jesus

With his eulogy

He wasn’t gone yet…

              Only half way gone.

Only he would want to see his own funeral.

Make sure he is remembered how he would like,

His curiosity consumed him

The same way my sadness consumed me.
