I followed Heather into the bathroom with hopes of joining her when she stopped me with a kiss saying, "You are not joining this time. Maybe next time."

I smirked as she shut the door leaving me standing in the hallway. I put my head against the door. She was such a tease but I enjoyed every moment of it.

"I know your still standing there." Heather laughed. "I'm not letting you in."

I laughed as I went downstairs and made some coffee. I poured myself a cup. Sitting down at the table I stared into the living room. I realized that we would be moving into together. A new place. A place for us to make memories and raise a family.

I stopped wait. Did she want kids? That's something we never really discussed. I closed my eyes and sighed.

"What's wrong babe?" Heather said as she came into the kitchen.

"I was just thinking." I stated.

"Thinking about what?" Heather asked.

"Do you want kids? I'm not saying right now but someday." I said softly.

She walked over to me and pulled me into her arms. She kissed me.

"Yes someday I want kids." Heather said.

"Until then can we practice?" I smirked.

Heather smiled. "We can practice all you want but you need to go get a shower."

"Fine." I gave Heather a kiss as I went off to get a shower.

The water was hot. I leaned against the wall as the water rolled down my back. I got a quick shower. I brushed my teeth and got dressed. I was walking down the stairs when I heard Heather talking to someone.

"Hey." I said as I walked in to the living room.

Heather was on the phone. "Yes we will be there." She hung up the phone and smiled.

"Who was that?" I asked.

"Your mom. She invited us over for lunch." Heather smiled.

"Are you sure you want to meet my mom?" I asked.

"Yes. If we are going to be moving in together then I need to get to know your family." Heather smiled.

"So let's go to your mom's." Heather tossed the keys at me.

"Alright then I guess we are going." I smiled.

We walked out to my car. I opened the passenger side door for her. She gave me a kiss and got in.

Why was I nervous? I had nothing to be nervous about. Heather was wonderful and I know my mom would love her like do. I guess I know how my mom can be. She's going to ask all sorts of questions.

Getting in I started the car up and pulled out of the drive way.

"Your quiet." Heather said.

"I know. I'm sorry. I guess I'm nervous about you meeting my mom. I know how can she be. I guess I'm worried what she could ask." I laughed.

"I promise I can handle your mom. Afterall I can handle you can't I?" Heather laughed.

"Fuck you." I laughed.

"Maybe later." Heather smiled.

"I will be looking forward to that." I said.

Soon my mom's house came into view. I shut the car off and I sat there staring at the house I grew up in.

Heather reached over and grabbed my hand.

"Meeting your mom is not going to change the way I feel about you. You know that right?" Heather said.

"Yes I know that." I smiled.

"Then let's go inside and have a nice time." Heather said as she got out of the car.

I got out of the car and Heather walked over to me. She pressed me against the car and kissed me deeply. I moaned against her lips as she slowly pulled away. She grabbed my hand and we walked up the steps. I knocked on the door as we waited for mom.

The door opened and mom stood there. She smiled from ear to ear. "Come in. I'm so glad you could make it."

"Mom this is Heather." I said.

Mom smiled. "I know we talked on the phone. It's nice to put a face with a name."

Heather smiled.

We followed mom into the dining room.

"Your dad is finishing up the food so we can sit her and talk." Mom said as she pulled out a chair and sat down.

I pulled out a chair for Heather and she took a seat. I then sat next to her.

"So tell me how did the two of you meet?" Mom asked.

"At the coffee shop." I smiled.

"Yeah and she was scared to talk to me. So I had to introduce myself." Heather smirked.

"We been together ever since." I smiled.

"I'm glad to hear that. Heather do you love my daughter?" Mom asked bluntly.

"Of course I love your daughter she is amazing and very talented." Heather smiled as she grabbed my hand.

"I know just by looking at my daughter that she's in love with you." Mom smiled.

I nodded my head yes.

"Lunch is ready." Dad came out with the food. We enjoyed a nice meal together. Mom and Heather continued to talk afterwards. Dad and I told the dishes to the kitchen.

"She's beautiful." Dad said.

"Yes she is." I agreed.

"I'm glad to see your happy." Dad gave me a side hug.

"I am very much so. I have her to thank." I said.

"That's good. You deserve to be happy." Dad said.

Heather came and wrapped her hands around my waist. She kissed my neck.

"I think your mom is doing questioning me." Heather smiled.

Dad smiled. "I will leave you two alone for a bit."

"So what did you think?" I asked.

"Your mom asked me all sorts of questions." Heather laughed.

"Like?" I asked.

"That's between your mom and myself." Heather smirked. "No she wanted to know about our first date. If we wanted to have kids."

"Okay so nothing embarassing?" I asked.

Heather smirked. "Oh you mean your song that she came up for you when you were a kid?"

"No!" I covered my eyes.

"Oh yes she did. Sheila Marie." Heather smiled.

I grabbed Heather and pulled her into my arms. "Your lucky I love you."

Heather smiled. "I love you."

Mom smiled from the doorway.

"You two are so freaking cute together." Mom smiled. "I know I keep saying it. I just can't help myself. I see a lot of me in you when I meant your father. "

I smiled. "Thanks mom."

"You're welcome." Mom smiled.

We enjoyed some more time together. Then Heather and I headed home. I know in just a few short days it was going to be Heather's birthday. I had to think of something to get her.
