"Who's arguing?" You ask Wanda as you walk through the tower listening to the shouts of two male voices from upstairs.

"Tony and Thor, they've been at it for hours." She answered stiffly. You frowned at her. "Its over Loki. Tony wants him out of the tower." She explained. You frowned. You couldnt really understand why everybody hated Loki so much. When you got to know him he was sweet and caring. Besides everyone gave Bucky the chance, and Loki hadn't done much worse.....?

"Oh. I have to go." You muttered. She nodded and watched you spin round on the spot and leave. You knocked Loki's door. He flung it open, his elbow pinning you against the wall opersite. You groaned as the wind was knocked you of you.

"Oh Y/N. My sincere apologies. I thought you were Stark." He let you go, standing close by. You took a deep breath.

"No problem." You rasped. You glanced into his room. He'd been packing. "You don't have to leave." You said, almost pleading. Loki smiled sadly.

"Oh but my lady I do." You blushed. "Stark will hate me always, and his team follow his lead. Wisely. I wouldnt trust me either." He walked into the room leaving the door open for you to follow.

"Not all of his team. Some of us think for ourselves." Loki frowned at you.

"Your a very strong individual." He said slightly unnerved.

"You tried to read my mind didnt you?" You said with a smirk. He nodded sheepishly. "But you can't." Loki shook his head.

"Tell me Y/N/N. Why can you of all people resist my power." He mumbled stepping closer to you.

"My mind had been trained to block out everyone including myself. Years of pain threaten to flood me if I even think about letting it open. And even you cant trick my brain into opening, it knows the consequences would be catastrophic." He tucked your hair behind your ear.

"I let you in." He said sub consciously. "I could help you." He said meeting your eyes. "Trust. You say you trust me?" You shut your eyes. You sat on the bed. He stood watching you. You felt a tear leak down your face before you could stop it.

"Try." You sobbed. Loki gulped and did, and what he saw changed everything he'd ever thought about you and Tony.

He saw the abuse from your childhood. He saw Tony stepping in to protect you. Your parents and his arguing. Him comforting you. He saw you freaking out and killing your parents one night. He saw you turn up at Tony's, covered in blood. Him trying to help you but his parents calling the police. You running.

He saw the rape, the kidnapping that happened the next day. The slavery you were in for the next three years. The miscarriage. The escape that left hundreds of deaths on your mind. You finding Tony again. The safety you felt. The time you nearly killed him when you were attacked and you lost control. He saw it all, the guilt, the nightmares. The pain.

He snapped back out of your mind. You were sat crying on the bed, he dropped to his knees in front you. "Your beautiful." He whispered. "Your strong. Everything a princess should be." You frowned through your tears.

"Your not afraid?" Loki shook his head.

"I never will be. And I'm not leaving." He flicked his hand and the suitcases unpacked themselves. He took your hands. "I think..." he said with a smirk. "That I may have, what mortals call...a crush on you." You smiled. "Even more than that...I think that I'm in love with you." He reached up and touched your cheek.

You threw your arms around him and cried into his neck. He held you, shocked at your action. He rocked you in his arms. A soft knock on the door signaled Tony and Thors arrival. Loki glanced up at Tony before slipping you to the floor where you wiped you eyes. Loki held out his hand to Tony.

"I'm sorry. I thought less of you, but I've seen everything done for her, and I love her. And you saved her." Tony glanced at you on the floor. He looked at Thor.

"Fine. He can stay." Loki smiled as although the billionaire hadn't said anything, the look he'd given him showed all the forgiveness he need. Thor hugged Tony. Tony patted his arms for release. You stood shakily. Tony winked at you. You smiled softly before engulfing him in a hug. He held you easily enough. He kissed your head.

"I got a God." You mumbled. He laughed.

"Okay you won." You smiled as him and Thor left. Turning to Loki, who was smiling generally for once. You stepped forward, and wrapped your arms around his neck.

"What did you do?" He put his on your waist.

"What do you mean?" He said with a frown.

"You made it all feel better." You said. He smiled, he lent down brushing his lips against yours.

"I did nothing. You just think I did. You banished your fears all on your own." You kissed him again. And he let you, even though he knew he'd never hear the end of this from Thor.

He fell in love with a misguardian women.
