What If You Were In The Avengers?

Worthy (Thor x reader)

A/N: non romantic, and a very overused idea. Sorry :/

"Thank you for helping me Lady Y/N." You smiled as you tucked a loose strand of hair from your bun behind your ear.

"No problem Thor, you deserve a nice room to remind you of home when your here on earth." You'd agreed to help Thor decorate his room at the tower. Being Peter's best friend had some perks. You'd met all the Avengers and were frequently round there, painting.

You loved art, so when Thor had said he was homesick, you decided to paint Asgard on his wall. You were nearly done. You went to recheck the photo you'd been working from to find Thor had left a hammer on top of it. "Really?" You mumbled.

You picked it up and turned to Thor. "Please put this somewhere else I'm trying to work." You said with a smirk. His mouth dropped open. "What?"

"Only the worthy can pick up Mjolnir!" He said. You laughed.

"Dont be silly. Its ridiculously light." You said oblivious. Thor took it from you and dragged you out to the living room.

"Who is the strongest in this room?" He asked you. You glanced around.

"Bucky probably." You said as you looked from, him Tony and Clint.

"White wolf, will you pick up this hammer to prove to Y/N that you cant." Bucky rolled his eyes.

"We've all tried this already." He grumbled but walked towards it and tried. He pulled with all his strength but to no avail. Frowning you picked it up again. Tony choked in his drink spitting it out. Clint laughed, whooping.

"You owe me fifty quid." He said jumping up. Tony groaned.

"I thought Steve would have done it first." He said giving Clint the cash.

"I'd do what?" Steve asked walking in. Thor took the hammer from you.

"Hold this for me." Thor said passing it to Steve.

"Sure." he said not even looking at what he was handed. You laughed.

"See Steve can lift it!" Steve glanced at the hammer and gasped. You took it from him again, making him frown even harder.

"You two are just very worthy." Thor said beaming with pride. You blushed, as he hugged you. "I'm very proud of you." He whispered. You smiled broadly.

"Thanks Thor."
