Mal was sitting on the bay window listening to music and drawing, peacefully in hers and Evie's dorm room. Evie and Doug were out on a study date and she wasn't going to comeback early. She was drawing a mini-sketched version of the castle. After drawing for a while, she looked out of the window to see the beautiful scenery outside. She took a picture of it and started to draw it. Since Mal was and amazing artist, she started signing up for art lessons because of two reasons, One, because she liked art and loves drawing in her free time and Two, because Ben begged her to go and share her artwork so everyone can see how talented she was and he used the 'For me' card and his adorable puppy dog eyes, which she especially couldn't say no too.
After drawing, Mal was feeling a bit bored, so she changed into a her dark purple running vest, trainers and black leggings and pulled her hair into two Dutch braids and decided to go for a run around Auradon. As she opened the door she saw her boyfriend, Ben, who was smiling as usual, look at her. "Hey" she said.
"Hey, are you going somewhere?" he asked as he looked at her.
"Yeah, I got bored after drawing, so I'm going out for a run."
"Are you busy right now?" she asked Ben.
"Uhh, No. I came to see if you wanted to hang out today, since I have no meetings or paperwork" he said.
"Oh, Umm, Would you like to join me on my run?" she asked him.
"Sure, that would be great. Let me change first." he said.
"Umm, Ben, Can I come with you?, so you don't have to walk all the way back here." Mal asked.
"Sure." Ben said and they went to his dorm room with their hands linked together.

"So, where's Evie?" Ben said as he opened the door to his room.
"She's on a study date with Doug." she said as she closed the door behind her.
"Oh" he said.
"So, everything alright with the council?" she asked as he went to his closet to change his clothes.
"Yeah, just the normal stuff. Except Grumpy being more annoying and grumpy." Ben said as he changed into some black shorts and trainers and was about to wear his dark blue running vest until he couldn't hear Mal say anything, it was quiet, too quiet.
He went out of his closet wearing his shorts and trainers only, holding his vest in his hand, to see Mal looking at one of the pictures of them on his nightstand. It was a picture of him and Mal at the Enchanted Lake together, staring into each other's eyes lovingly while sitting on top of the cliff, Ben sitting behind Mal, cuddling together. He remembered that day. It was at summer time, him, Mal, Evie, Doug, Jane, Carlos, Lonnie and Jay went to the beach together. They all went swimming in the sea, played volleyball, and sang songs. Then they went to the Enchanted Lake to relax and talk, until the boys decided to go cliff-diving and Ben carried Mal and they both went cliff-diving together. Then Mal went by herself to another higher cliff and when she fell into the water, she was feeling playful, so she made sure Ben saw her resurface from the cliff and then screamed and went back down and held on a big stone to stay underwater and when Ben jumped of the cliff and was about to fall into the water, she teleported herself onto the cliff and sat there trying not to laugh loudly and saw how all the boys went underwater to look for her as the girls were laughing. After she whistled loudly which made Doug, Carlos and Jay look up and laugh, which made Ben resurface and look up to see Mal sitting on top of the cliff pulling her tongue out at him. He shouted "Mal, you devious fairy!" and went up the cliff and sat behind her, and they were cuddling for a while before they came back to the castle and went to their rooms.
