It was a normal Saturday morning in Auradon. Everyone and everywhere was happy and peaceful. Mal was in her room in the castle, drawing. After cotillion, Mal had been staying over at the castle most of the time. Her room was close by to Ben's, so they weren't far away from each other. She and Ben were going to have a date later on. They are going to watch movies and cuddle together. Mal was listening to her music and drawing the beautiful scenery around her, when all of a sudden, she wasn't in her room anymore.
There was a young lady, who was half fairy, standing in front of Mal. "Sorry to disturb you Lady Mal, or startle you." "Umm, it's ok. One question. Who are you and where am I?" Mal asked confused.
"Oh I'm sorry. This might shock you, but I'm your daughter from the future."
The lady said.
Mal stood in shock as her eyes widened, that young woman was her's and Ben's child in the future. "Are you serious?" Mal asked.
"No, I'm joking. I'm Ava, Daughter of the Blue Fairy. I'm going to show you the past."
"Oh, ok. Umm, why are you showing me my past, I already know what happened during my childhood on the isle." Mal said.
"No, not your past, King Ben's past." Ava said.
"Oh, so I'm going to see Ben when he was a young boy. Aww." Mal said, exited to see how baby Ben was and mini prince Ben was like.
"Ok, lets go." Ava said, and with that she waved her wand and they were in Ben's room, when he was 5 days old.
"Wait, can they see us?" Mal asked.
"No, they can't see us." Ava said as they watched baby ben sleep.
"Oh, can I take pictures though." Mal said, watching baby Ben sleep. "Aww, he looks so cute when he's sleeping. Baby Ben still looks the same as Bennyboo." Mal said taking pictures.
"Ok, now that we're done here, let's go to when Ben was 5 years old Ava said, flicking her wand again.
Now they were outside, Belle, Adam and young prince Ben was sitting in their rose garden, having a family picnic together.
"Ben looks so adorable when he was young. When we head back to the present, I'm definitely going to tell Belle to show me all the pictures of Ben's childhood." Mal said looking at young Ben eating a sandwich and laughing.
Young Ben then got up and started playing hide and seek with Belle and Adam. He was hiding in one of the trees. Mal watched as Adam and Belle looked everywhere for Ben, before Ben jumps down the tree and scares Adam and Belle, before falling to the ground and laughing.
Mal smiled at young Ben laughing his head off. She wished her childhood was like his. But she's happy that she came to Auradon and stayed with Ben, he makes her happy and he's a part of her now.
Next they saw Ben when he was 9 years old. He was in his room with Az ( Aziz, son of Aladdin and Jasmine). They looked like they were bored.
Mal watched as a smirk grew on their faces and she knew what they were thinking about.
"Hey Az, you know what we should do. We should prank everyone in the castle." Little Ben said smirking.
"Yeah, lets prank Mrs. Potts, Lumiere, Cogsworth and the others." Little Az said and they both done their handshake before leaving Ben's room.
Mal watched as they both dressed up as clowns and scared everyone in the castle especially their parents. She smiled at Ben and laughed as they scared everyone. They were really good at sneaking and pranking.
They then went to when Ben was 15. He was fencing with someone. That's when She remembered that Ben told me that he had fencing classes when he was learning to be king. Mal watched as he fenced with a professional fencing teacher. Ben was really good at fencing for a 15 year old Mal thought. He was amazing at fencing, he has good reflexes and amazing speed.
Finally, they came back to Mal's room in the castle. Ava said goodbye to Mal before she left.
Mal was still remembering everything about Ben. He is very athletic but a bit of a prankster.
After a couple of minutes, she heard a knock on her door.
She opened it to see who it was. It was Ben.
"Hey Mal." Ben said as he smiled at her.
"Hi," She said and smiled back at him
As soon as he stepped in her room and closed the door behind him, Mal quickly hugged Ben tightly.
Ben chuckled.
"I was gone for an hour and you already miss me." Ben said returning the hug.
"Yes." Mal said.
They stood there, still hugging each other, not wanting to let go.
After a couple of minutes of silence, Mal finally spoke.
"Did I mention that I'm in love with you,"
"Yes, you did, wait... Hey that's my line!" Ben said making Mal laugh.
Ben always made Mal smile or laugh all the time, even when he is grumpy or tired.
Mal wished that she knew Ben when he was young, but at least she saw most of his childhood.
