Mal and Ben are 18/19.
It was a normal day in Auradon.
Everyone going to school or having fun.
Mal was on a date with Ben at the Enchanted Lake. They were having a hard time with the paperwork and being Lady of the Court and the Enchanted Lake was the only place they went to be alone and calm down. It was peaceful and it was their place so no one really went there. They were talking, laughing and kissing. They stayed there until they had to go back before dinner and before it became dark because Belle and Adam would get worried about them.
When they went back to their room, Mal and Ben shared a room when they stayed in the castle even though she has her own room, and they went to get changed when Mal realised that she has no clothes yet,since Evie was still working we her new collection, she had to go to the mall tomorrow and buy a couple of outfits. She's going to see if Ben is busy tomorrow, if not then they could just go and spend the day together.
After dinner...
Ben and Mal said their goodnights to Belle and Adam and made their way to their room. Mal first went to the bathroom to change and brush her teeth, when she finished she was wearing purple top and shorts and made her way to their dressing table to brush her hair and take of her makeup. Ben went to the bathroom while Mal was taking her makeup of and brushed his teeth and came out of the bathroom only wearing his blue shorts. (Ben likes to sleep shirtless.)
Ben laid on the bed, he propped his head up on his hand, watching and waiting for Mal to finish brushing her and join him. After Mal finished, she walked towards the bed and laid down on the bed next to him and cuddled together and they lay there in silence for a bit before Mal ended the silence by asking Ben something.
"Ben,"
"Hmm" He said, resting his head in the crook of her neck.
"Are you busy tomorrow?" She asked him.
"Umm, no. Why do you ask?" He said as he looked at her.
"Well, I need to go to that mall tomorrow to buy some outfits and I thought that we could spend the day together outside," Mal said looking at him.
"Oh, wait. Why do you have to buy new outfits? Doesn't Evie make all your clothes." He asked a bit confused.
"Yes, Evie does make all my clothes, but Evie is not done with my new collection so I need to buy some." She said.
"Ok. Sure." He said smiling at her.
"Oh well,we better go sleep then, look at the time." (The time was 12:30) Mal said looking at the alarm time.
"Goodnight Mal!" Ben said.
"Night Ben!" Mal said.
They both kissed each other before falling into a deep slumber, cuddling and holding each other in each other's arms.

The next day
Mal and Ben went to the mall at lunch and when they walked in, Mal was shocked to see how big and colourful it was being she had never been shopping to the mall because Evie makes all her clothes.
"It's amazing." Mal said looking around.
"It's alright," Ben said before daydreaming and thinking about the last times he was at the mall. Mal noticed him thinking and asked "Ben, are you alright? What are you thinking about?"
"Umm, about the last times I came here." Ben said shifting his eyes to Mal. "It was awful," he added. "Why?" Mal asked. "Because I used to come here all the time with Audrey and it was so boring. The whole day we would be here at the mall, literally I have been to every store in this mall. All I had to do was hold Audrey's shopping." He said.
Mal was a bit shocked, upset and a bit angry. She knew Audrey is a show off and a prissy pink princess and all, but she never thought about how Audrey treated Ben. He had to spend all the time carrying her shopping and walking around the mall everyday. Ben doesn't deserve to be treated like that. He is an amazing and one of the best person anyone can have as a boyfriend. I will always make sure Ben has fun and is free to do anything he wants and has a say in our relationship. I will make sure that Ben has a good time today Mal thought.
"Umm, How about we walk around and see if there are any stores that have clothes that suit me." Mal said.
Mal and Ben walked around and went to four stores and found some clothes Mal likes and would were for the past days. After they finished shopping, the went to a cafe and had lunch. After they went into the arcade and had fun, Ben had won a teddy bear for Mal and Mal named it 'Benny Bear'.
They were having so much fun that they didn't realise that it was 5pm and it was getting dark so they went back to the castle and was greeted with an relieved look on Belle's and Evie's face.
"Oh, there you guys are, do you know how worried we were? Both of you weren't answering your calls and it's getting dark." Belle said as Evie looked at them and agreed with Belle.
"Sorry, we went to the mall because Mal needed a couple of outfits since Evie isn't done doing her clothes collection and we were having so much fun that we didn't realise that we got any calls on our phones." Ben said as he wrapped his arms around Mal's shoulders.
"It's ok. I understand, but you could have at least called and told us where you went. No one knew where you guys where." Belle added.
"Sorry mom." "Sorry Belle." Mal and Ben both said at the same time before looking at each other and smiling.
"It's ok. Why don't you guys go to your room and freshen up, dinners going to be ready in a bit." Belle said before leaving with Evie by her side.
"Ok." Ben and Mal said before heading up to their room.

In their room:
"You know, today was actually really fun." Ben said after they both took a shower and got changed before sitting down on the couch in their room and cuddling.
"Yeah. I really had fun today. Especially since I was with you." Mal said before kissing Ben on the lips.
"Same." Ben said and kissed her again. Once they pulled away, Ben said "You know, we should go to the mall sometimes."
"Yeah we should." Mal agreed.
And that's what they had been talking about and doing before it was time to go to dinner and head to bed, snuggling on the couch together and kissing and talking.
Today was a fun day. Going to the mall with Mal is really fun. She understands me so well, she is the best girlfriend anyone could ever have. I'm so lucky to have her. She's the love of my life, my soul mate. Forever. Ben thought.
Today was so much fun. I'm so glad Ben had fun today. I never want to see him sad and upset, it hurts me to see him like that. He is such an amazing person, he shouldn't be treated the way Audrey treated him. He is allowed to do anything he wants to do and he has a say in everything. I'm so lucky to have him. He's the best thing that has ever happened to me and I have had. And I'm going to make sure I don't loose him. After all our love is true, we're destined to be together. Forever. Mal thought.
