Sarah? What a pretty name, it really suits her. I should fucking stop, I mean she's older than me, probably has a girlfriend and god knows what. The worst thing is that I don't even know her well enough to even grow feelings for her..
My phone started to ring and I glanced over to see how was calling and to no surprise it was my mom.
"Everything okay?" I asked after picking it up. "Yeah yeah everything is fine but-" "But what?" I interrupted her before she could continue talking.
"I just miss you" she said with a low voice. "Oh my god mom I'm gonna be fine, a hospital won't kill me and Doctor Paulson is taking really good care of me"
"She's pretty" my mom said, making me giggle. "I guess so" I said, taking a small break before continuing "But I really gotta go now, I'm tired and I want some rest, okay?"
I heard my mom sigh at the other side of the line "Alright Honey. Talk to you tomorrow"
"K, Goodnight" I said before hanging up.

I now was sitting somewhere in the hospital, my crutches next to me so I could somehow walk. Normally I was supposed to stay in bed sleeping but my thought were keeping me awake, especially the thoughts of Sarah, I like that better than calling her Doctor Paulson, at least when I'm not in her presence.
Every now and then, Doctors came rushed in with emergencies or on their way to have a meeting, I don't really know.
I checked my phone to see how long I have before I had to actually 'get up'. 2 in the morning, great. I groaned in exhaustion and started to slowly walk back to my room.

-

I got woken up by a door closing, making me flinch in fear. "Hey hey, it's just me. No need to be scared"
I opened my eyes to see Sarah standing in front of me. "How are you feeling, Sweetheart?" she asked with a smile on her face.
"Uh...I guess I'm fine, just exhausted I guess"
She smirked at me before talking "Well, if everything goes fine today you're free to leave whenever you're ready"
I looked at her with a sad face "Oh..great"
"Are you okay?" she asked, sitting on the end of my bed. I shook my head, not saying a word.
