I finished getting ready and took another look at myself. For once in forever I was actually happy with how I looked.

It was different from what I was usually wearing and it made me feel more powerful and in control. I giggled to myself and made my way downstairs into the living room to find my mom and sister waiting for me. "What is it?" I asked looking up and down at myself. "You look like an emo hooker" my sister commented as I rolled my eyes at her. "Love you too, dumb ass" I smiled at my mom who gave me a death glare. "I don't know when I'll be back" "Yeah yeah, just don't come back pregnant, sweetheart" I looked at my mom and laughed "Yeah sure" Just before I closed the door I let out a loud 'bye' and got a 'shut up' back from my sister.

I smiled at our short conversation and put my phone away.

Shortly after I put my phone away I saw Sarah stopping right in front of me. I got in the car and look at her and dear god did she look gorgeous. "Cat got your tongue?" she asked smiling brightly. "Uh...woah" I paused for a second "You look gorgeous" She smiled, blushing slightly at my words but then shook her head. "I wish" "You can stop this right now because you are gorgeous whether you wanna believe it or not. Anyways, where do you wanna go?" I asked, looking out of the window.
There was a good minute of weird silence until Sarah spoke up. "I was thinking that maybe we could go to the beach? And pick up some food before?"
I looked over to her and grinned "Did you just make that up?" I asked at which she nodded. "Maybe, who knows?" she then said "so?" she then added. I nodded "Sounds lovely". She started her car and turned the first song that came on, to the fullest.
