𝙻𝚊𝚑𝚎𝚢 𝙾𝚛 𝙼𝚒𝚔𝚊𝚎𝚕𝚜𝚘𝚗 {𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗱}

Chapter Nine

Kaitlyn and Skylar had made up but she was still keeping her distance from Isaac. Kaitlyn was off feeding on some human and Skylar was practicing a simple spell when she sensed someone in her house "you can't just come walking into my house when ever you feel like it." Skylar said with out looking up "you've been avoiding me." Isaac said as he leaned in the door way "there's a reason for that." She replied "you know Esther is the reason I slept with her, I didn't want to." Isaac said and Skylar nodded "I know." She replied simply "Jesus Skylar will you just look at me." Isaac snapped "no, because it will what I have to do next a lot harder." Skylar said and Isaac shook his head "don't do this sky." He whispered "I have to Isaac." She said as tears welled in her eyes "I can't be with you, it's too dangerous, anyone I love is a person my family and my enemy's can use against me, I don't want that for you."

"Skylar I can protect myself." Isaac tried "Isaac either you accept this or I will make you." Skylar said as tears started to fall "I love you." Isaac whispered "I love you too, that's the problem." Skylar wiped the tears away and stood to face him, the look of sadness on his made her heart break and she knew what she had to do, she stepped up to him and put her hands on his face "I want you to forget that you love me, forget our relationship and everything we've been through the past few months." Skylar started to compel him, Isaac tried to pull away and fight but Skylar was stronger "we're friends and in the same pack, that's all, that's it. All it's ever been, forget our relationship forget how you love me and I love you. Walk out of this house and find someone who makes you happy, someone who's safe for you." She said as tears fell down her cheeks.

Isaac's face went blank and he walked out of the house, Skylar watched him go, she pursed her lips and grabbed the closest glass to her before throwing it at the wall and screaming, she fell to the ground and covered her mouth as she started crying.

Skylar woke up to her alarm, she groaned and turned it off before taking a shower and getting dressed "it's too early to wake up." Kaitlyn groaned and pulled the blanket over her head "then sleep in, I have to go meet stiles." Skylar said as she pulled on her boots. "Okay." Kaitlyn said before falling back asleep.

Skylar put her hair in two braids and then put on all her jewelry. She walked out to her car, she drove to stiles house and woke him up "let's go stilinksi." She said and he groaned "okay." They went to the animal clinic and Deaton told Allison, Scott and Stiles that they had to die as a surrogate sacrifice to save their family. They got into ice baths and they people who held them down had to be ones who were basically emotional tethers "Lydia you go with stiles, Skylar you with Scott and Isaac you with Allison." Deaton told the group "are you sure?" Allison asked and he nodded.

Allison, Scott and Stiles got into the ice baths, they started and Skylar held Scott down until he died "how long now?" Lydia asked when they all floated to the top "a while." Deaton said, 16 hours later they all shot out of the water and gasped "I know where it is, we've all been there." Scott said "it's a stump, a big stump." "So are you going back with Deucalion?" Skylar asked "I have to, I made a deal with him." Scott replied

"so what we're supposed to trust him now, the guy who calls himself death, destroyer of worlds?" Isaac asked "he's right Scott, it sounds like you made a deal with the devil." Stiles pointed out "he trusts you more than anyone, tell him he's wrong." Allison said to Deaton "I don't think he's wrong here." The man replied "in circumstances like these you have to make alliances even with people you would normally think of as your enemy."

The bell above the front door jingled and everyone looked over "I need your help." Ethan said "with what?" Stiles asked "Stopping my brother, he's going to kill Derek, and then Skylar for killing Kali." "Wait you killed Kali?" Scott asked the girl who slowly nodded "yeah, me Kol and Marcel did." Skylar admitted "what do you want us to do?" Lydia asked "Kali is still alive, Deucalion got a witch to bring her back, and she coming for you." Ethan said.

Lydia went with Ethan while Allison went with Scott and Isaac to find something to track their parents, Skylar went to the loft, when she got there Kali was dead and the twins were paralyzed, Skylar vamp sped over and threw Jennifer across the room, Derek ran in and Skylar ran over to Lydia, Jennifer was trying to convince Derek to help her and eventually she caved "Skylar stay with Cora and Lydia, if anything comes near them." "I'll kill them." Skylar promised the man.

They took the twins to Deaton, he started to help them and Skylar's phone buzzed "It's Isaac, they need help." Skylar explained "go, we got this." Cora said and Skylar nodded, she vamp sped over to the root cellar, when she got there a beam was about to fall on Isaac, Skylar grabbed the beam and held it up "go! Now!" Skylar yelled sheriff Stilinki nodded and lead everyone out through the hole Skylar made, when they got outside they saw everything collapse on Skylar "Skylar!" Isaac yelled and went for her, the eclipse stared so Chris and sheriff Stilinksi were able to hold him back.

After the eclipse was over Isaac used his powers to hear Skylar's heart but he couldn't. "No." He whispered "what?" Stiles asked "her heart stopped." Allison realized, everyone went silent and after a few seconds a loud roar came from the ground and Skylar pulled herself out of the hole, Isaac ran forward and wrapped her in a hug.

"I thought you were dead." Isaac whispered "I'm not that easy to get rid of, you know that." Skylar whispered back. The storm ended and everyone smiled and hugged each other "I'm so glad your okay." Isaac whispered "never do something that stupid before calling me first." Skylar said back.

Jennifer had been killed by peter, after she was dead peter came to Skylar's house, when he got there she was sitting on the couch drinking a blood bag "what's that look for?" Skylar asked when she saw the confused look on his face "before I killed Jennifer she mentioned you, she said that you made a perfect candidate for a guardian but she didn't take you because your hope is missing." Peter said and Skylar shot up.

"what?" He asked "Kaitlyn!" Skylar called "what?" I need you to start a locator spell "why?" She asked "Jennifer, she did something to hope, I've had a bad feeling these past few days and I get why now. It was my connection to hope." Skylar explained "peter you need to go." Skylar said and he nodded before leaving. Skylar tried to call Rebekah but she couldn't get an answer "Rebekah's not answering." Skylar sighed

"Okay, give me the ring that links you to hope." Kaitlyn said and Skylar nodded, they tracked Hope to an abandoned building, Skylar sped inside and killed the two vampires guarding the door, she walking into the room and saw Rebekah desiccated on a table "Kaitlyn pull out the dagger!" Skylar yelled, she followed the pull and found hope playing with some toys in a room "hi." Skylar cooed and picked up her sister "it's okay." She whispered and hope grabbed on to her.

They went back to Skylar's house and Kaitlyn got Rebekah a blood bag "the bitch daggered me." Rebekah snapped "the bitch is dead." Skylar said as she held Hope who had fallen asleep. "I need to go back to New Orleans and help Klaus with the wolves, will you be okay if Hope stays here?" Rebekah asked and Skylar nodded "of corse."

Rebekah kissed both of her nieces heads "thank you Skylar." She said and Skylar nodded, Rebekah smiled and touched the locket Skylar was wearing "you still wear it." Rebekah smiled "yeah." Skylar whispered.

With Jennifer gone and the alpha pack disbanded there was some peace, Skylar still hadn't gotten back with Isaac, as a matter of fact he had gotten closer with Allison. Kaitlyn left after her and Skylar made up, Skylar had been staying home from school to watch hope, one Saturday she called Scott, Lydia, Stiles, Melissa and Derek over.

"so you all know that two months ago my sister was killed." Skylar stared as she looked at the group in front of her "well a lot has been going on since then and I've been lying to you all." She explained "what do you mean?" Stiles asked and Skylar sighed "it's easier to show you." She said before walking up to the guest room and picking up Hope, she walked back into the living room and everyone gasped "guys meet my little sister, Hope Andrea Mikaelson." She smiled as she bounced the baby on her hip.

Everyone looked at her speechless until Lydia stood up "Can I?" She asked and Skylar nodded before handing her over to Lydia "she's going to be here for a while so I need your guys help to keep her safe and make sure that no one outside of this room ever finds out she's alive." "Of corse." Melissa smiled as Lydia passed her the baby. "What ever you need, we'll do." Scott promised "why us?" Derek asked "I trust all of you, I trust you with my life and I trust you'll help me with hope." Skylar replied and they all smiled
