Because of Barrow there was a mass blackout through out Beacon Hills. There was still no power at school, Skylar walked down the hall and saw Kira, she smiled but Kira turned on her heel and went the other direction.
After gym Skylar corned Kira "if you don't want to be friends that's okay but please don't tell anyone what you saw." Skylar said as she pulled her boots on "I don't know what I saw." Kira said and Skylar sighed "I'll explain but please, please don't tell." Kira nodded, Skylar looked around the empty she turned into a tribrid and looked up at Kira

"Oh my god." Kira said and Skylar turned back. "I'm part wolf, part vampire, part witch, the only of my kind." "Wow." Kira said "I'll keep your secret." Kira promised "thank you." Skylar smiled "what else are friends for." Kira smiled, Skylar smiled back and they hugged "I have to go meet Scott, but seriously thank you." Skylar said as they pulled back "of corse." Kira nodded. "Skylar. I have a secret." Kira said and Skylar froze "huh?" Skylar asked "take a picture of me, use the flash." Kira said and Skylar did, she looked at the picture and saw a golden/orange fox looking around Kira "what the hell?" Skylar asked "I don't know, it's just showed up." Kira said "I'll see if I can find out what it is." Skylar promised "thank you." Kira said and Skylar nodded.
That night there was a Halloween blacklight party at Derek's, Skylar got dressed and walked down the stairs, she heard a growling but it went away.
Skylar walked into Derek's loft and someone wrapped their arm around her "what do you think?" "We'll Danny boy you throw one hell of a party." She smiled "but I need a drink." "Not yet." Danny said and took her to get painted.
After she got painted her and Danny started to dance, all she could hear was a loud heartbeat, it felt suffocating "you okay?" Danny asked "yeah I need air." Skylar said and walked outside.
"You okay?" Isaac asked as he walked up to her on the balcony. "I don't know." Skylar sighed "I feel like I'm going to be sick." She said "Skylar." Isaac said and she looked up at him "Your eyes." She looked at her phone and saw her eyes were glowing "what's happening?" He asked and she shrugged "I don't know." She said as she hyperventilated "Isaac." Allison said as she walked out "go, I'm good." Skylar whispered "I'll be there in a minute." Isaac said, Allison looked between the two and walked inside.
"Isaac go. I just needed to be away from everyone and listening to your heartbeat isn't helping." Skylar said as her eyes turned back.
Isaac nodded and walked back inside, Lydia ran out panting and Skylar walked up to her "what's wrong?" She asked but Lydia didn't say anything, the shadow guys showed up and did the same thing to Lydia that they did to Skylar before leaving, Lydia fell to the ground and and Skylar caught her "it's okay, it's okay." "What's going on?" Aiden asked "I don't know, something attacked her." Aiden picked her up and carried her inside, Derek came and stopped the party.
The pack was standing in the living room of the loft, the shadow things showed up again and all looked at Skylar "why are they looking at me?" She asked, they froze everyone and walked up to Skylar, two of them grabbed her arms and another one of them grabbed her head, it's eyes glowed causing her eyes to glow back, the one touching her head slashed behind her ear and dropped her to the ground, they disappeared and Kira ran over to her.
"What the hell was that?" Scott asked "Scott she's freezing." Kira said as she set Skylar's head in her lap "you need to trigger her healing." Isaac said, Scott draped his jacket over her "she won't heal, not with out blood." Derek said, Scott made his claws come out and scratched his hand before putting it over Skylar's mouth, she drank some of his blood before she let out a painful groan.
Skylar tried to go home but Kira followed her "what are you doing?" She asked "I'm not leaving you alone, not after that." Kira said and Skylar sighed "walking will take too long." "So how do we get there?" Kira asked, Skylar picked her up bridal style and vamp sped her back to Skylar's house "like that." Skylar smiled as she set her down "that was cool, terrifying, but cool." Kira smiled back. "Perks of being a vampire." Skylar explained as they walked into the house, Kol was sitting on the couch when they walked in.
"what are you doing here?" Skylar asked "this is Mr. Lawrence, he's here so you can sign the deed to your house." Kol explained and Skylar smiled "okay." She said, the four of them went to Skylar's new house and Skylar looked around "its perfect Kol." She said and Kol smiled "the old house is now under my name so you still have it but you can live here. You just need someone living to sign it." Kol explained and Skylar looked at Kira "you mind?" Skylar asked and Kira smiled "me?" She asked and Skylar nodded "you."
Kira signed the paper and the other man left "Kira I need you to welcome me into the house." Skylar explained and Kol cleared his throat "him too" Kira nodded "what do I do?" She asked "just say come in." Kol explained "Skylar come in." The two girls looked at Kol "I don't know his name" "Kira this is my uncle Kol Mikaelson, Kol this is Kira." Skylar said and they both nodded "Kol come in." "I have to go poppet, I'll see you around." Kol said and Skylar nodded "later." The two hugged and Kol sped off.
"So you wanna come in?" Skylar asked and the two went into Skylar's new house. "Kira, I trust you, and I don't trust many people." Skylar said as she opened the fridge to see Kol filled it with blood bags. "Thanks." Kira said with a wide smile "so if you want, I'll answer the questions you've been wanting to ask about my family." Skylar said as they sat on the couch "but I'm going to be drinking a blood bag as we talk." "Okay." Kira said and sat next to her.
The two sat and talked about Skylar's past for hours until Kira went home, Skylar sat on her new couch and smiled as she looked around her new house.
— AN — Skira (Skylar and Kira) is such a soft friendship and I feel like Skylar really needs that right now, and Skylar and Isaac will have more scenes together eventually but right now Allisaac is a ship so 🤷♀️.
