3rd POV
A rabbit came out of its hole and began to smell the area around it. It then hopped over a few feet before an arrow came from no where, killing it instantly. A few seconds passed as a feminine hand grabbed the dead animal and tied it to her belt. Raven then turned around to see her teenage associate with her.
Raven: good job with the bow Vernal.
Vernal: well, that's the most you've said all week, have something on your mind?
Raven: nothing at all, let's get moving, Grimm come around at this time.
Vernal followed Raven, walking back to the camp that was set up.
Raven: hey Danny.
Danny looked down at Raven, he had green hair and was heavier set than most.
Danny: Hey Raven.
Raven: any sight of lone wanderers?
Danny: just a girl with green hair, a guy with silver hair and a woman in a red dress, little weird to me but other than that, nothing at all.
Raven: let me know if there's a caravan, we're running low on supplies.
Danny: yes ma'am.
Raven walked up to her cabin and pulled up a chair before tossing the rabbit to Vernal.
Raven: do you think you'll be able to go out hunting later today? Bring home bigger things?
Vernal: of course I can.
Raven: glad to hear, you'll be catching the food for the camp tonight...tomorrow will be David.
Vernal: I hope he can find more than a few blue berries.
Raven: I hope so too.....
Meanwhile
The man walked out of his stone house, heading towards the ocean once again. He kneeled by the waters and placed his left hand into it, gills on his neck began to open up.
?????: I'm still evolving....even without using it.
He then stood up and saw a bunch of people around an oil drum lit on fire. He then stood up and walked off the beach.
?????: hey old man!
The man then stopped and looked at the teenagers.
???: can I help you?
?????: what are you doing here?
????: I live here....that stone right there is mine. You can continue doing what you do. Just don't try to start a fight you know you can't win kid.
The man walked up the dirt lot, leaving the teen with a puzzled look. The lone man walked to the side of his house and placed a wood log on a stump and held an axe. He held it up high and brought it down quickly, as he did this a quick flash happened within his mind. The voices began calling out to him again with each swing of the axe, flashes still happening before his eyes.
It all the phased to an image of an island, engulfed in a massive blue flame, the sound of pained screaming clouded his mind until he finally snapped out of it and slammed down hard with the axe, cracking the ground.
?????: I just want.....I want them back.
He tossed the axe to the side and walked back into his small stone home.
?????: I will never.....go back to that form. He took everything from me.
