Y/N POV
I held the bottle of beer as Raven grabbed another. About ten minutes have passed since she's asked about my past.
Raven: do you think you're ready to tell your story? I can then tell you mine, make us have a more trusting working relationship.
Me: it's long and boring.
Raven: I'm bored and have the time.
I sighed as I leaned forward.
Me: alright, you win.....but don't tell anyone this.....I've buried this for 20 years....hoping I could forget.....but there are some things that you can't.
3rd POV
Flashback.
Y/N walked with a teenage girl down a road, through a small town.
Y/N: you feeling any better Danielle?
Danielle: sorry dad.....just difficult seeing you and mom fight a lot.
Y/N: I love your mother, we just don't always see eye to eye, you know it's been like this since you were a little girl.
Danielle: don't you ever get tired of it?
Y/N: if we didn't argue all the time then how would I know that she still cared? Come on kid, let's head back to the house, apparently that Ben boy is stopping by.
Danielle: Dad you didn't!
Y/N: Dad did a thing.
He smiled as he put one arm around Danielle.
Y/N: lighten up child.
Danielle: hey dad, what are your plans for tonight?
Y/N: I'm going to take the three of us out by island for a night under the stars, get us out of the village for a bit.
Danielle: I'd like that.
Y/N: I'm glad.
They both made it to the house where
Y/N's wife, Aria, was, sitting at the kitchen table.
Y/N: Hey Aria, how are you doing?
Aria: I'm fine, I just heard news that a small blue flame was seen in the forest.
Y/N: hehehe shit.
Aria: Y/N, I know you like using that power, but it's too dangerous, what if the fire becomes larger.
Y/N: it can't get that much, everything is fine Aria. Danielle, start getting ready.
Danielle: alright.
Danielle walked to her room and closed the door.
Aria: you're a good father Y/N, but remember we have to keep her safe, please promise me you won't use that power.
Y/N: *sigh* alright I promise.
Danielle walked out of her room with a pair of shorts and a new shirt.
Danielle: ready.
Aria: where are you two going?
Y/N: the other island, you're coming along too, let's go.
Aria: but dinner is already made.
Y/N stopped and looked at her.
Y/N: eat first, then party.
They all walked to the kitchen table as Aria stood up and grabbed a few of the bowls of food.
Timeskip
Y/N helped Aria and his daughter onto the boat. He then began to push it into the water and they all made their way to the island.
Shortly after pushing the boat they all made it to the island and got off the boat.
Y/N: small....but you can't deny that view.
Aria: you can't at all.
Danielle: little hard to see though, anyone have a light we can use for a little bit.
Aria: shit we forgot them at the house.
Y/N: listen I know I promised but I can make a small fire for a torch just for us to see.
Aria: No Y/N.
Y/N: I'm gonna do it, I swear to Gods.
Aria: Don't!
Y/N breathed out onto his hand and a blue flame began to light it up.
Y/N: listen, we're dumb and forgot a light, starting tomorrow I won't use the power anymore, I promise.
Aria: I certainly hope so.
It began to pour down rain, lightning striking above as Thunder crashed,
Y/N: ok I'm turning it off now.
Y/N shook his hand to put out the fire, just as he did this a massive bolt of lightning struck the ground between him and his family. He was sent back into a tree as his family all stood up to see a massive golden dragon come from the sky, the thing had to be atleast 500 feet.
??????: Wreeeeeeah!

The massive golden dragon looked at the two girls and roared out again, the left head going down to them and looking.
Y/N quickly got up, his skin turning gray and dorsal plates growing on his back. The right head turned to look at Y/N and let off a blast, nailing the guy in the chest and sending him into the water. He quickly opened his eyes to see the middle head's throat began to light up, Danielle and Aria both looked over at
Y/N as he remained speechless.
Aria: Y/N!
Danielle: Daddy!
The golden dragon let off a powerful blast, hitting the girls and completely disintegrating them.
Y/N: NO!
The creature turned to look at Y/N and gave what appeared to be an evil smile before flapping its wings hard and flying upwards.

Y/N looked up at the storm, in that moment, he was numb with both sorrow, and rage.
Without any control gray scales covered his body as he sank to the depths below.
A few hours later a massive creature emerged from the oceans, attacking the town. It's massive dorsal plates charged up as it released a massive blast onto the town, the sound of screaming civilians silenced.

Timeskip the next morning.
Y/N woke up in the waste that was a beautiful town and looked around. He saw a blue flame, burning all of the trees and leaving Y/N alone. He looked around as he saw his hands turning back to their normal color, he's realized what he has done.
Y/N then smashed his hand on the ground and screamed out, no one could here, because everyone died at his hand.

Y/N POV, Flashback End
Me: that's it, I then made a promise, something I promised my wife and didn't keep. I refuse to transform, or use any of my powers, ever again.
Raven: I'm.....I'm sorry.
