3rd POV
Raven landed in the garden with TaiYang pulling weeds.
Raven: need any help with that?
Tai turned around to see Raven standing there.
Tai: hey Raven....how are you doing?
Raven: the usual....how's Yang?
Tai: she's at Beacon, along with Ruby.
Raven: fair enough.
Back at the camp
Y/N tossed down the boar as Vernal walked over.
Vernal: where's Raven?
Y/N: went to go do something personal.
Vernal: do you know what said personal thing is?
Y/N: nope, I didn't ask. I'm in no position to ask anything, besides if there's anymore work to be done. You have anything for me?
Vernal: do you know how to skin boar?
Y/N: yes.
Y/N picked it back up and followed Vernal to a table and placed it down.
Vernal: lets see what you know.
Y/N: Vernal, I used to work at a Deli. I used to skin the dead animals that came in.
Vernal: I thought they just gave salted meats.
Y/N: the owner always wanted it to be the freshest possible.
Y/N stuck the knife into the boar's hide and began slicing down it with ease.
Y/N: you people use this hide for anything?
Vernal: we don't, never saw a need for it.
Y/N: you could probably lure an animal to you with this, I mean what if a Bear came by or a bird. Makes things easier than risking no food.
Vernal: but what if nothing comes.
Y/N: right....then some out for hunting and then rub blood on the hide and tie it to one of these trees.
Vernal: not bad Y/N, when you're done I'll have to try that.
Y/N: I just need two minutes, this one is fat.
Meanwhile
Raven sat at the kitchen table with Tai.
Tai: she still asks about you Raven, what was so personal that you needed to leave her like that?
Raven: stuff that I wouldn't like to talk about.
Tai: you know you can tell me.
Raven: I don't want to.
Tai: why are you here though? That's the real question.
Raven: just wanted to apologize....in a way.
Tai: apologize by going to beacon and visiting Yang at some point.
Raven: yeah, that's a no.
Tai: why is that exactly?
Raven: because one, I don't like Beacon. Two, I don't want to go.
Tai: not even for your daughter?
Raven: don't say it like that.
Tai: I want to honestly ask you this. Do you even care or love your daughter?
Raven cracked Tai across the face.
Raven: don't you ever ask me something like that again!
Tai: ow point made.
Raven: I'm going....have a good life.
Raven stood up and walked out of the house, transforming into a Raven and flying out back towards the camp.
Meanwhile
Y/N hung the boar hide and splashed some of the blood on it.
Y/N: alright, that should do it. Bears and other larger animals will eat this up. Along with not having to worry about Grimm right Danielle?
Vernal: what did you call me?
Y/N's eyes widened as he looked back at the boat hide.
Y/N: Vernal, that's what I said.
