+KILLUAS POV+ (I feel like I haven't done his in a while for some reason)
Gon's been making me blush all day! I'm a man aren't I? I need some backbone! I smack my cheek while staring at gone, who looks at me. aH! I quickly look away and shove my hands in my pockets.
"This is your favorite place?" She asks excitedly.
I look at her and say, "Yeah... I used to come here a lot as a kid..!"
I feel myself smile at her curiosity regarding me, and walk over to sit next to her. Then, she looks back toward the water. I look past her to see what she's looking at, when she turns back toward me and puts something in my hair. I curse myself mentally for blushing, AGAIN!
"W-Wha-" I stutter. UGH WHY?!
"A flower." She says, cutting me off.
And then. She pat my head.
I blush even darker. She's treating me like a kid! I'm not cute! I'm a man!
"Oh! We should probably head back now for Retz!" She says while standing.
Suddenly, I feel myself grabbing her hand.
"Wait." I say as serious as I can, and without stutters, while standing up.
She looks up at me confused and a little shocked, her face is tinted a light pink. I cup her cheeks and put our foreheads together.
"Tell me honestly, why did you cup my cheeks earlier?" I ask coolly.
I can see her face heat up a bit more, while I stare intensely into her eyes.
"I...... um.......... had..... an urge to........" She says, a little embarrassed while looking down.
I stare at her.
"Okay, okay..! I was also trying to embarrass you.." She pouts.
"HMPH! I knew it!" I say and pull away, feeling the pent up heat rush to my cheeks in embarrassment of my own actions. "N-Now we can go back!" I say proudly.
She laughs and runs to catch up to me, then we make our way back.
———(Gons POV and time skip)
Once we get to the front of the mansion, we see Retz looking around as confusedly as I had once been.
"Hi Retz!" I wave to her.
She smiles and runs up to us, then we head to a different room filled with lots of books.
"Wooow!" I say again and run inside while looking around in amusement.
