CHAPTER 14

-KILLUAS POV-

I sigh after entering my room and allow the blush, which I'd been attempting to suppress for the purpose of my pride, come out, however I pause and hold it back once more. I turn to face the person who'd attempted to sneak up on me outside the doorway.

"Ah, Alluka." I say and relax a bit.

She's looking down and fidgeting with her fingers.

"B-Big brother, I-" She says, but I cut her off.

"Come inside and shut the door." I smile at her to ease her apparent worry.

She nods a yes and enters my room. I sit down on my bed and continue where we left off.

"So? What do you wanna tell me?" I ask while leaning back a bit.

"Well... I... I saw you and that girl by the river outside the cafe..." She mutters, but I can hear.

I sputter out and look to the side sheepishly, "S-Saw what?!"

"A-Are you two... dating...?" She asks, causing me to blush a deep red.

I bashfully scratch my cheek,"D...Does it look that way...?- I-I MEAN- N-NO, WE'RE NOT!"

She looks at me with an odd look. "Do you... like her?"

I blush a deeper shade of red. Do I?

"N... N-No... I-I... I don't think so... but...-" I stutter, but then she cuts me off.

"Big brother!!" She yells in disbelief, I look at her in shock of her loud voice.

"A-Alluka-" I try to calm her down.

Her fists tighten, "But she's nothing compared to you! She doesn't deserve you! You're too good for her! You...! You promised...! You promised we'd be together forever...! That girl... That girl! She's ruining everything..! You've started ignoring me...! It's all her fault!-"

She stops after taking in my glare.

"That's enough." I say coldly, while looking down. "Get out."

She looks at me in fear, "B-Big brother-"

"Get out!" I growl.

Her eyes begin to water, as she runs out and slams the door.

I'm not mad at Alluka, just disappointed in her rash behavior. How could she say all those terrible things?! Especially when she hasn't even gotten to know Gon... I may have been too hard on her, but... she's acting really bratty right now and I'm not gonna stand for that. Although...

I glance up at the door, then notice she dropped her doll thing. I pick up the toy from the ground and place it on my nightstand while sighing. I'll make it up to her later. Then I turn out my light and go to sleep.

—-The next day—-(Zushis POV)(Bonus)

I start my day as usual, following my Masters set schedule that he made for me (Wing, not Gon lol). Then, I make sure to walk by Master Gon's house, as usual, then turn the other direction and head to school. Those last steps weren't apart of my Master's plan.

I walk past the trees, dazzled with lovely icicles that glisten in the sunlight and grin widely, excited to start another day, bully-free!

That's when something not so usual happens. I look further along the path to see a girl with long black hair kicking a tree, causing the icicles to fall and shatter into tiny crystals. Scary...

I shiver and walk the furthest I can away from her, but as soon as I pass her, she glares at me, and we make eye contact, causing my entire entity to quake in dread.
