    Morning came and I felt like total crap this can't be life, half of the night I got up to use the bathroom or snuck downstairs and grabbed a snack, I was still tired and regretted everything. I started my usual routine and got ready for school. I wasn't in the mood to get beautiful so I throw on a pair of blue ripped jeans a black t-shirt and my black riding boots I also grabbed a black cardigan and threw my hair in a messy bun. I head downstairs and heard my brother and mother yelling as I walked in the kitchen.. "Why can't I go Mom, you let Lani go on a sex event weekend but I can't go out with a few friends for a few hours that's totally unfair." I looked at him with shock, well god damn how the hell did I get in this conversation I just got here. "Excuse me she's not irresponsible like you." He was cheesy for calling himself a Greek god I folded the note and went to class...The day dragged on and Chase wasn't in any of the classes today I wonder why. Lunch came and I was excited I rushed to my locker to put my books away when I was stopped by Nina "How was your weekend love" She smiled I blushed "It was good until the end when his grandma kept saying I was pregnant" Nina burst out laughing catching the eyes of a few kids in the hallway I hushed her and she stopped "Well are you, you got kinda chunky" She says poking my tummy I swatted her hand away "fuck you bitch" I slammed my locker and walked away "where are you going the cafeteria is this way hoe" She yelled out after me. I gave her the bird and walked to the parking lot. I stepped out and the sky became grey I scanned the lot for Chase. I was disappointed when I didn't see him. I pulled out my phone just when I was about to text him is when I heard a car horn and looked up it was Chase, I ran over and hopped in. The smell of old spice and mint filled my nose. I took it in for a moment then looked over to my lover, his hair was disheveled and eyes where dull like he didn't sleep, he gave me a weak smile. I cupped his face "Chase are you ok" He shook his head no, he sighed then told me his poppy got sick last night and is now in the hospital. We sat in silence, he then took a breathe and reached in the back seat and pulled out a sandwich and gave it to me, I smiled, even when he's low he still thinks of me. I ate the sandwich and we continued to sit in silence till the bell rung, I had free period next so I told him I will stay with him, he nodded. I never seen him sad, from the time I come to know him he has always been charming and happy this Chase was depressing. For the next hour he talked about going to Ohio with his mom and not being here for Thanksgiving, I was disappointed but I understood. The bell rings again and I had to head inside, he gave me a soft kiss and told me he will pick me up after school, I nodded and hopped out as he drove off. The sky rattled with thunder and I ran in just as the rain came down. I headed to my next class, as I was walking down the hallway I slammed into something or someone "I'm so sorry" I quickly apologize "it's ok Lani" I realized it was Max "oh Max I'm sorry I was rushing I didn't see you" I was blushing out of embarrassment "Leylani it's fine we are all good over here nothing is broken" He says chuckling "Your cute when you blush" He says poking my cheek I swat his hand away "I gotta go I'm already late for Isaacson class" I wave bye and ran to class. The rest of the school day dragged on and the weather made it more boring. I watched the rain hit against the window and waited for school to end, it was finally over. I walked to my locker and waited for Nina and Josh they were walking so slow "can you guys walk any slower" They pretended to walk in slow motion and freeze every other step, I hated them. I glared and walked away then heard running after me "that was rude fatty" Nina said poking me I pushed her "you bitch I'm not fat" She giggles and Josh threw his arm on my shoulder "Yea babe she's not fat just got a little fluffy in the mid section in the past couple months" He poked my tummy I swatted his hand away "What the fuck is my stomach a button or something why is everyone poking me" I yelled "Who's everyone?" Chase asked from behind me, I jumped and shoved him "you scared the crap out of me you ass-hat" He laughed but it wasn't his normal one, he kissed my forehead and grabbed my hand and we said our goodbyes and headed to his car. The ride was silence, no music, no talking just silence..."I need to stop at the store before we head home is that ok?" He asked, I nodded and he pulled into a small shopping center he hopped out and I stayed in the car. I watched the rain roll down the window with boredom, I looked out the window and saw a pharmacy. I needed some more tampons and vitamins so I got out the car and went in. I sent Chase a text telling him I was in here. I walked the aisles and grabbed my tampons and a bag of chips. I walked to the cashier and stood on line. As I was waiting I saw a few different pregnancy test and thought I grab a few what's the harm right. I pay and head back out to the car. Chase was waiting but he was on his phone talking in another language. I walked to the passenger side and opened the door and climbed in Chase was still talking outside. I looked in my bag and... "Shit!!!" I forgot my vitamins I was about to get out when Chase climbed in "I got you some more vitamins, I saw you was low in Ohio" Chase hands me a bottle and I smile, this boy was the definition of perfect "Thank you" He smiled and we drove home. He pulled into his driveway, I looked at him "Chase?" I say looking at him he looked broken and I felt for him, his Poppy was the only man left in his life and I knew he felt like he was going to lose him. He sighed and kissed my lips "I'll call you later ok" I nodded and climbed out he climbed out and went in his house. I walked to my house and went straight to my room I took out one of the pregnancy test and went to the bathroom.

20 MINUTES...

I have been sitting on the bathroom floor for 20 minutes looking at the pregnancy test in my hands. I was scared to death of what the test would read... I thought about calling Chase but he was going through something right now and I thought about calling Nina but she's going to make the situation worse. There was a knock on the door I quickly got up and put the test under my sink cabinet "Yes?" I yelled out "Lai can I borrow $20 I'll give it back" It was Kaden, I opened the door and looked at him annoyed, he smiled at me "what was you doing in there dropping a duece?" He said pretending to fan the smell away, I shoved him and sat on my bed he laughed "So about that $20..." He asked again sitting on my desk "why are you always borrowing money you are never going to give back" I asked handing him a 20 he shrugged and snatched the money and left. My brother was an asshole. I laid on my bed and closed my eyes my phone chimed with a message...

I looked at the text for a minute and then looked out my window. I went down stairs and walked next door. I rang the door bell and Chase answered the door, he looked at me confused "what's up" I can hear the baby crying in the back so he stepped out and close the door, we stood there awkward, I cleared my throat "I thought I would check on you" I said he looked at the ground then to me his grey eyes glittered and he smiled his beautiful smile "thank you I appreciate the support" He grabbed my hand and kissed my forehead. We sat on his porch and talked he told me he was leaving tomorrow for Ohio and that he was scared. During our trip his Poppy looked okay, he was kinda quite and coughing but I just figured it was the weather change. Chase kissed my hand and laced our fingers "I know you wanted to spend Thanksgiving together I'm sorry baby" He said "it's ok family comes first there's always Christmas" I said as I kissed his knuckles, he nodded and then stood up, he pulled me up and he walked me home "I'll drive you to school tomorrow morning before I go" He cupped my face I nodded "Are you coming tonight?" I asked he shook his head no, I nodded and sighed "Ok goodnight then" We kissed with passion and purpose, it was different. I watched him walk home and I headed upstairs. I threw myself on my bed. An hour pass and there was a knock on my door I guess I had fallen asleep "Hi Honey I brought you a sandwich you missed dinner" My mom said walking in my room, Damn how long was I sleep she placed the plate down and went to pick up the stuff I have on my floor in my room, then I remembered that I had pregnancy test in a bag on the floor "It's ok mom I'll clean up later" She looked at me and nodded and turned and left... I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding and took a bite of my sandwich. I have to take that test... I hope it's negative... I can't be pregnant... I kept thinking a million thoughts running through my head... I looked at the time and it was 12:28am... I sighed and went to the bathroom and grabbed the test..WELL HERE GOES NOTHING!!!
