ch. 10

When I wake up I have breakfast with my mom. After breakfast I head straight back to my college thank goodness I only missed one day and it was saturday. When I walk into my dorm Christian is sitting on his bed. "How did everything go" Christian asks "he went off the wall cause someone took a picture of me hugging devon thanking him for talking to the teacher" I tell him.

"We made a promise to each other cause I've only been with him but he didn't make anything official " I say "what was the promise " he asks. "That I wouldn't be with anyone else and he wouldn't get in trouble" I tell him.

"Well looks like he broke his promise cause you didnt" he says with a concern look. As a week goes by I don't hear anything from devon. Monday rolls around I wake up and pull on a red t shirt and my black jeans paired with my leather jacket. I head down to the racers department when I walk in I see devon but go straight to the teachers office. "Mr. Davis I was wondering if devon talked about me" I ask "he sure did let's get you set up to see what you got but you better not waste my time" he says.

When we get to the track I pull in with creed and my rival rides up beside me looking over I realise it's devon.when the flags go up I'm ready when they drop I hit the gas hearing her power wakes something in me makes me feel great and shifting the gears makes me know that I'm the one that gives her that power. As we come to the finish I'm in stream ahead of devon when I hit the finish line.

As I get out I'm met by Mr. Davis "your the best driver I've seen in awhile " he says patting me on the back "your in this class you can start tomorrow other than that you can go back to your dorm for the rest of the day" he says smiling with pride.

As Mr. Davis walks away devon approachs me "hey that was a great run you wanna go get something to eat " he says I nod "get in my car " I say. As we get in creed I speed off we head to the closes burger shack which is 5 miles off campus. "So have you always wanted to be a driver" devon asks as we eat. "That I can remember, when my dad took me for my first ride in her I fell in love with the sound and the feeling of going fast" I say staring out the window at creed. "So why is she called creed" he asks, as we eat I tell him about when my dad bought her and how she came to be mine after he passed away. "And sense my mom didn't know how to drive a stick shift I took it up on my own to teach my self sense I saw my dad do it so many times" I tell him finishing up my story and my food.

When we get back to his car we set and talk a little while longer. "So do you have anyone" he asks "I guess you can say I do but he hasn't put a label on it" I tell him. "Well he's a fool not to" he says leaning in and planting a kiss on my cheek and he walks off. "See you tomorrow kellie I look forward to it" he says with a smile.

When I get back me and Christian head to the gym to let off steam. "Girl I'm sure I already told you this but your a force to be reckoned with " he says with a laugh. "I've  taken down guys bigger than you man" I tell him "Damn I'd hate to be your boyfriend on a bad day " he says laughing.

When we return to our dorm I head for the shower. As I'm in the shower my phone rings "you have a collect call from "thomas" would you like to accept the charges" the operator says "yes " I say into the speaker. "Hey how's things going " he asks "Well I got excepted into the racers class how is everything going there" I tell him. "Things could be better" he says.

"Thomas what am I to you" I ask remeber in what devon said. "Are we together or not" I add "your someone special to me kellie but I don't want a relationship right now" he says breaking my heart. "How much is your bail" I ask with sadness in my voice. "Kellie" he says "no I just wanna know how much your bail is" I ask once more. "It's 10,000 why" he says "just seeing how much money I'm going to have to get to help you out " I tell him as our conversation comes to an end the operator lady hangs up before we can say good bye.

My water had turned cold so I finish up by washing my hair and dressing in something warm. As I drift asleep I see both thomas and Devon side by side arguing devon telling him he's a fool and thomas yelling back. I'm startled by my alarm and I quickly jump up. I run to my closet to get dressed not realising Christian is still in the room I pull off my shirt and pants and throw on my blue jeans and a t shirt. When I turn around Christians mouth is wide open. "Sorry about that " I tell him "no need to say sorry this is the most awake I've been sense I started this place " he says laughing .

As I run out the door to my physics class I get there in time to get a front seat. Are teacher assigns us work and we get to it . When the bell rings I head starter for Mr. Davis class. When I enter I see devon patting the seat beside him. "I had a great time yesterday " he says looking at me with his gorgeous eyes. "I had a great time to" I tell him. Every one goes silent when the teacher enters and once again gives us our assignments and partners us up shocker me and Devon get partnered together Mr. Davis says it's because we are the best racers.

Are assignment is to choose what we think is the best car and year model and tell why. Of course I cost creed 1967 camaro she is the best no matter what people say.

"We can meet up Friday to do it " I tell him. "Ok my place or yours" he asks. "Let's go with mine" I tell him.
