Chapter 10- Birthday Confessions

July twentieth came before anyone realized it; yesterday the girls had moved all their stuff into a flat in London that their mother picked out. The flat was big with a kitchen, living room, and two bedrooms each with their own bathroom. Harry, Niall, Abigail, Bethany, Zayn, and Catherine were in the kitchen making the birthday girl breakfast as quiet as a person could be when cooking. Louis, Danielle, Caroline, Liam, Eleanor, and Josh were in the living room wrapping the presents they all got Alana even though she told them not to get her anything. But being the people they were they all went ahead and disobeyed her orders anyway.

Everyone was whispering among themselves not expecting Alana to wake up for another forty minutes that was until they heard Alana yell something about shoes. Everyone looked at Abigail and she mouthed ‘my room’, not giving it a second taught the gift wrapping crew grabbed everything they had and ran into Abigail’s room. They placed everything neatly on her bed and covered it with her blankets. When Alana began to turn the door knob everyone was back in living room crashed on the couch with the TV on watching the Disney channel.

“Thanks Alexis for the birthday wishes I’ll see you when I get back home give the baby a kiss for me. Love you girl, bye!” Alana ended the phone on her best friend and walking out towards everyone not noticing the people waiting for her. Harry and Abigail served everyone’s breakfast on the table placing a yellow rose next to Alana’s plate. The birthday girl who was already dressed in a cream knitted poncho sweater with a tan tank top underneath, cut jean shorts, and tan vans looked up and saw all the wide awake people. She was shocked by how awake all of them were and with one smile everyone began yelling.

“Happy Eighteenth Birthday Alana!” they all yelled at the same time, Alana covered her ears and her honey eyes became big.

“Thanks guys and wow that was loud,” She said bringing her hands down and looking at them with wide eyes. They all smiled at her and it gave Alana the creeps.

“Breakfast!” yelled Catherine and like all hungry children everyone raced to the table.

“Alana the plate with the rose next to it is yours I remember you told me you loved them.” Harry smiled his green eyes sparkling.

“Aww thanks Harry I’m surprised you remembered,” Alana walked over to Harry and gave him a big hug.

“I never forget anything you tell me.” He whispered into her ear making Alana blush, she placed a kiss on his cheek and pulled out of the hug. Everyone sat down at the medium size table and began eating right away, the plate were flooded with pancakes, waffles, eggs, bacon, sausages, and toast.

“Hey Alana I noticed your dressed, Where are you heading out to?” Catherine asked taking a bite from her toast as Zayn draped his arm over her shoulders.

“I’m doing what I do every year.” Alana answered giving a small smile and continued eating. Catherine nodded her head understanding what Alana meant.
