darkness. alone. numb.

that's how wooyoung always described his life.

he never felt loved being with his family. every second, he was thinking, that he wanted to get out of this horrible home, where his family members never really cared about him.

mother? she died when she gave birth to his second son --- which was wooyoung.

father? he turned alcoholic after his wife died. sometimes, his father would start wreaking havoc and at the end wooyoung was the only one that was taking care of him.

older brother? wooyoung didn't even know where he went most of the time. he rarely picked up wooyoung's calls and always refused to go back home.

and this is why wooyoung always felt alone. he felt like no one was there for him, as if he was falling into a deep dark hole, and no one was going to catch him and save him from everything.

but everything changed once he met the world's most perfect and beautiful person ever --- choi san. wooyoung met the older in a library when he was returning a book he borrowed. san was like the only source of light in the dark hole, leading wooyoung to the exit of the hell.

his dimples, his friendly eye smile, his cute behaviour --- wooyoung knew that he was going to ask him out, no matter what. he just had a feeling that the person in front of him, could change his life. and he did. they went on several dates, slowly knowing each other more.

it had been a year since they met. but something still haunts wooyoung till this day. he started to feel weak and anxious whenever he thought about his family. he started to dwell in the past, scared that no one would love him forever after all. he started to feel like he doesn't deserve this much love from san.

and that was when everything went downhill.

wooyoung couldn't help but to push san away, and began to feel alone again. wooyoung always felt that loneliness is addictive, as if he couldn't escape from its grasp.

he was slowly falling into pieces, but he never knew why. but he surely knew that it broke him entirely when he found san, the man whom jung wooyoung is in love with, kissing another man like his life was depending on it.

"woo... you don't look like you're into me anymore. i f-feel like you've grown distant from me and you're not interested in our relationship anymore. i feel like... we should maybe break up for our own good."

wooyoung felt his legs wobble underneath him and he fell onto the floor. he had no idea how to act in such a horrible situation like this.

"san! i'm sorry i was so selfish... i was so caught up by my childhood a-and i couldn't stop thinking about that... and i even pushed you away even though you were always here with me. i'm really sorry..." wooyoung could feel his hot tears rolling down his cheeks. he couldn't bear when san is not here with him for the rest of his life.

"actually. i'm sorry too, woo. you don't need to apologise. i am the one who cheated on you for god's sake." san couldn't help but to hug wooyoung. it had been a long time since wooyoung let san cuddle him.

"san, please. i really want you by my side. i was just... not feeling well and i don't know what was g-going on in my head for the past few weeks..." wooyoung hugged san back, even tighter.

san released from the hug and smiled, "i think we shouldn't let our relationship end like this, right? but woo, please. i care about you so damn much. you should tell me whenever you feel down, okay? i can even listen to you all night."

wooyoung nodded. " if i wasn't so selfish, you wouldn't be with another man-"

"shh woo. it's all my fault. i mean, even though you did that, but i have no reason to cheat right? that just shows how much of an unloyal jerk i am." san stared at the ground, he regretted everything he'd done to wooyoung.

"s-san..."

"let's be together forever alright? and from now on, we should trust each other more." san's eyes searched for wooyoung's and the younger nodded, crying into san's neck, feeling grateful that he still have san in his arms.
