skateboard tricks [remake]

the kiss and max's wish

it was the end of school, and max skateboarded to mike's house. when i got there, eleven wasn't there. thank god. we went to mikes backyard and i placed my skateboard on the ground. "do you even know how to ride a skateboard?" i asked.

 "no..." mike replied. 

"great," i said sarcastically.

i kicked the skateboard closer to him. 

"get on the skateboard," i said.

he got onto the skateboard.

"now, basically just put one foot on the board, and one on the ground. then kick the foot on the ground. after you're moving, you basically just put both feet on the board, and keep kicking when you slow down." i explained.

mike tried the steps i did, he did it perfectly. 

"good," i said, surprised.

"beginners luck?" 

"maybe," 

"okay, now i'll give you an advanced trick..." i said.

"try this," i grabbed the skateboard and did a trick where i bounced with the board, but i still stayed on the skateboard.

"all you have to do is give the board a little push forward to bounce the front wheel," i explained.

 "the board will pop up off the ground." 

"try to stay on the board." 

mike did the exact steps, but he failed. mike fell onto the ground.

"holy shit, are you okay?" i asked, running up to him.

i thought he was crying, but he was laughing. 

i started laughing too. 

the laugh soon faded, as me and mike lean in slowly and place our lips on each others. mike's lips were soft. it was a new feeling, a great feeling. we both pulled away with red cheeks. it was late and i had to go home, i wished i could stay- wait, could i? i asked mike; "maybe i could stay the night?" he said yes. i wondered what eleven would say. i was scared since she had powers. but, she won't know. i grabbed my skateboard and walked inside with mike. i called my parents and told them i was staying over. if eleven found out, i already had a lie. "nancy invited me for a sleepover!" and if she didn't believe me, easy! i would've already put some of nancy's perfume on so it wouldn't be obvious. well, i guess that's it. i'll see what happens tomorrow.
