Chapter Five

Zayn's Pov:

Myself and Niall have been constantly texting since the day we ran into eachother again. A weeks passed and we still haven't seen eachother, We may have arranged to meet up the day after we ran into eachother, But that didn't happen. Considering the small amount of time we've spent together I feel close to him. It's been hard trying to meet up, Considering the loyalty I have to the boys, If they need me they have to come first. However today's a real easy day so I'm seeing Niall again. Of course the boys know nothing about him, I want to try keep it that way just for a little while. Once I'd gotten ready in the morning I rushed downstairs to find the boys sitting around having a conversation.

"What's going on?" I asked. 

"There's more news about Sean's little guest" Louis revealed, I nodded before sitting down.

"Tell me" I said.

"Word is it's his cousin, There living together and Sean's highly protective" Liam stated.

"Good job boys, Find out even more if you can, We can use his cousin against him" I stated before standing up and throwing on my jacket. 

"Where are you going?" Harry asked.

"Out. I'm not around for the day boys, I'm on my phone if needed, But don't contact me unless your dying" I stated. All the boys nodded, I then pulled out my phone, Grabbed my car keys and left the house. I'd arranged to meet Niall in the alleyway once again. When he arrived I was going to take him someplace special, Somewhere that nobody could bother us. 

Niall's Pov:

I had a restless night. Questions kept running through my mind. Did I really know Sean as well as I thought? Zayn doesn't seem bad so why does Sean want me kept away from him? Why would Sean lie to me? I sighed as I quickly threw on my jacket. I was spending the day with Zayn, Of course Sean had no idea, I wasn't big on lying but I knew he would freak out so I'm not telling him. 

"Where are you off to?" He asked as I opened the frontdoor, I thought quick before replying.

"Oh, I met this girl, Were going on a date" I lied, Sean had no idea that I was gay, When he left Ireland I had just come out as bi, It seemed like that was more accepted, He smirked at me before winking.

"Use protection Nialler" He teased, I rolled my eyes.

"Shut up, I won't be late" I stated before rushing out the door. His laugh still echoing in my ears. If only he knew. I sighed before walking in the direction of the alley, Excitement took over me, I couldn't wait to see Zayn but I had no idea why. Once I arrived I walked all the way to the end of the alley. There stood Zayn leaning against the bonnet of his car.

"Niall" He said once he noticed me.

"Hello" I replied, smiling, I then held out my hand for a handshake, Zayn chuckled before shaking his head he then pulled me into a hug.

"Sorry mate, I'm a cuddling guy" He stated, I smiled before returning the hug.

"Don't apologize, I like it" I informed him, Zayn chuckled before squeezing me gently then letting go. He then looked directly in my eyes. 

"You ok Niall?" He asked, a hint of concern filling his voice.

"I'm fine, I just had trouble sleeping" I replied, Zayn nodded before opening the car door.

"You can sleep on the way" He said, I smiled before nodding my head. Zayn then opened the car door for me. I nodded my head before climbing in, Normally I hate traveling in cars they smell horrible, But Zayn's didn't it smelt perfect, Just like him. I waited silently for Zayn to climb in the other side. 

"So where are we going?" I asked, Zayn smiled at me. 

"Have to wait and see" He said, I chuckled before shaking my head and leaning back in the car seat. Zayn then started the car up before taking off down the road, I slowly closed my eyes and Zayn hummed a gentle tune, I felt somehow safe with him, But I couldn't explain or understand why. 

"Niall, Niall wake up" Zayn whispered into my ear, I groaned before opening my eyes, I smiled once I saw Zayn's face. 

"Where are we?" I asked as I stretched. Zayn smiled before signaling out the window, I looked to see we were at a beach over looking a beautiful cove, I smiled before undoing my seatbelt and climbing out the car, Quickly followed by Zayn. 

"I used to come here as a kid with my family, This place is special to me" Zayn stated, I smiled before looking at him.

"Thank you for sharing it with me" I whispered, Zayn smiled before looking down. 

"You like it here?" He asked, I nodded my head. 

"It's beautiful" I replied. 

"You should see it at night, Everything lights up, And the light reflects on the water, It's breathtaking" Zayn said, I smiled. "You hungry?" He added.

"Starving" I replied, Zayn chuckled before signaling me to follow him. He took me to a little diner where we had some lunch, Zayn paid for everything which made me feel bad. He then took me down on the beach area so we could watch the water washing in over the cove. 

"So Niall tell me about yourself" Zayn said as we sat down, I smiled.

"There's not much to tell" I replied.

"Oh come on, Everyone has a story to there life" He stated. 

"Well I'm from Ireland as you can probably tell by the accent, I suppose I didn't fit in there so I moved here, But I don't really feel that I fit in here" I explained to him.

"Why?" He asked.

"I don't really know, I never feel that I belong anywhere. People find it easy to judge based on looks, Appearance or your background" I stated.

"Those people are also the ones who fit in by pretending to be something there not" Zayn replied. I sighed before nodding. Zayn then gently squeezed my shoulder. "You fit in here" He said, I blushed before looking down.

"What about you? What's your story?" I asked trying to change the subject. 

"Well I left home when I was sixteen, I suppose you can say I'm like you, I didn't feel like I belonged there" He said. 

"Where did you go?" I asked. 

"I stayed with some friends, Then I got involved with some things and here I am today" He replied, I nodded. 

"What kind of things?" 

"If I told you, You'd run" Zayn stated. 

"You don't know that for sure" I replied, Zayn sighed.

"I feel that I can trust you Niall, I-I" I then took Zayn's hand causing him to smile, He then took a deep breath before continuing. "I got involved in drugs, Dealing and taking them. Which led to fights, Which led to me joining a gang, Now I run that very gang" Zayn revealed causing my eyes to widen. But then I looked deeply in Zayn's eyes and I saw regret. "You hate me don't you?" He asked, I shook my head.

"No, I think your misunderstood Zayn" I explained. 

"I've never spoken to a person the way I've just spoken to you" He said, I smiled.

"You can always talk to me" I informed him, Zayn smiled before pulling me into a hug, I hugged him back tightly, We pulled away and Zayn quickly placed a kiss to my cheek, I then blushed causing Zayn to chuckle. 

"Can we do this again? But next time maybe as more then just a day out?" Zayn asked, I smiled before biting my lip.

"You mean like a date?" I asked, Zayn blushed before nodding, I smiled.

"I'd love that" I replied, Zayn smiled before pulling me against him, We then watched the water crash into the cove as the sun went down. Zayn was right it was breathtaking.
