Everything had resumed to its original state. Dario had flung into a concrete wall from the powerful punch from Prince of the Universe. At the same time as crashing through the wall, he delayed his finger hitting the switch to the time bomb, and detonated it several seconds later. Suddenly, a fiery explosion, no a massive explosion. It blew up everyone and everything at the scene, sending them all back in time by about 10 minutes. The old man was in the alley, Shane, Tyson, and Doyle were sitting at the table, but Dario was also standing in the alley, walking towards the man.

"I could've sworn a lot of stuff happened just now. Oh well, probably just a dream I had while waiting in the car."

Dario walked closer and closer to the man.

"Old man. What is your real name?"

"Oh? I think it's Jack Lightstone."

As Dario finished his sentence, Body was summoned and threw a powerful hit to the chest of Jack.

"I-Impossible!"

Body let Jack's body slide off his hand.

A man was standing behind Dario. Dario turned around expecting Baki but got a surprise.

"It's me, Shane."

Shane immediately threw a punch across the man's face, knocking out one of his teeth. Dario retaliated by having Body attempt to swipe at Shane. The swipe was countered with Prince of the Universe's arm extending from Shane's body and jabbing Dario quickly and precisely in the chest.

"H-Haha... Your familiar has a lot of speed and power I s~ee. Baki!"

Baki jumped out of the car and unleashed a massive hoard of the black veins to attack and restrain Shane. The veins held him in place while some poked his body, stabbing through parts where there were large junctions of veins.

"Hmm. Didn't I tell you my familiar's power? It can't only freeze things, but can also absorb kinetic energy! It took a lot of kinetic energy to launch your veins out of your body at me and hold me in place!"

Suddenly, Prince of the Universe broke free from the veins and walked towards Baki.

"Prince of the Universe! Ionic freeze!"

Everything froze.

Prince of the Universe began rapidly rushing Baki's body.

It finished its barrage with one final punch.

"Everything's gonna unfreeze now. Enjoy the trip."

Everything unfroze. Baki was launched from the position dozens of yards away, holes in his body and his head nearly destroyed. Dario looked terrified.

Everything froze once more. Prince of the Universe gathered up power in its right fist and punched Dario in the torso. Everything unfroze. Dario was launched from his position into a concrete wall. He was crying now. Tears were running down his face.

"Do-Don't hurt me anymore! I'm defenseless! I think I broke a few backbones, and they'll have to perform surgery on my mouth!"

"Weren't you trying to avenge your brother? The one ran over by the car?"

"So what!? What the hell does that have to do with anythi-"

Shane grabbed Dario by the collar of his suit and had Prince of the universe ready a powerful punch.

"Eeeh!" Dario winced.

"Don't get sassy with me. Tell me something. Is Clara alive? My sister Clara."

"I'm sorry, but I can't say."

Prince of the Universe tightened its fist.

"Ok, ok! Yes! She's alive."

"Where was she taken?"

"Back to headquarters."

"Where is headquarters?"

"Off on an island south of Venice."

"Thanks for the information. You're free to go."

"Re-Really?"

"No! You nearly killed the old man and I know your lying about where the headquarters is!"

"H-How!?"

"You idiot. We're on an island south of Venice!"

Shit! He figured it out.

"You got me. I was lying." Dario smirked.

"Why're you smiling? I'm about to server you retribution for killing the old man and trying to lie to me."

"Because." Dario said smuggly. "I'm not the real Dario." 

Dario's body began to melt onto the ground until the only thing that was left was a pile of dozens of black veins.

"Black veins. Wait a minute! It was too easy! Dario and Baki went down too easy! That must mean!" Shane turned around quickly. Dario was standing behind him in a smug pose.

"I'm right here," he said.
