Shane's Sinister and Bizarre Encounters

Vulcan Strikes Part 3

"Vulcan. I have one last question to ask you!"

"What question, Shane? What could you possibly want?" Vulcan said back in a sinister tone.

"Where is my sister!" Shane yelled while pointing at Vulcan.

"Your sister... Lightstone. Why should I tell that to a dead man?"

"What!?"

"Roundabout! The flow of time will now invert to my liking!"

Once again, the world shattered and became gray and rough almost like a tape. This happened to everyone, except Vulcan.

"Even though you've done nothing in the last 10 seconds, you don't remember anything while time reverses!"

Vulcan walked just in front of Shane.

"Time will now flow in its original state."

Everything came back to normal and Roundabout went to punch Shane through the gut, but Vulcan was met with a far faster kick to the leg.

"Vulcan. I realized something about your ability. You said something about how time 'inverts', how it changes to your liking. This must mean Roundabout has an ability connected to time."

"What does it matter to you? You just managed to hit me before I chopped you in half. Prince of the Universe truly is the fastest familiar I've seen, but knowing Roundabout controls time will not help you!"

"I know one last weakness about your familiar, Vulcan. It can't interact with anything during its abilities' duration!"

Vulcan had a shocked look for a moment on his face.

"By the look on your face..."

Shane paused and looked at Vulcan straight in the eyes with fury.

"I guess I got it right."

"Take this, Shane!"

Roundabout quickly jabbed POTU, but POTU retaliated. It tried to barrage him, but Roundabout read Shane's intentions of where to strike and dodges all the attacks and counter-attacked with a swift kick to Shane's leg along with a chop across his torso.

"Aaah!" Shane cried in pain.

"As you can see, Roundabout has far more fighting experience. Just the sheer raw power of it can kill you! The cut on your chest wasn't deep enough to cut through your major organs, but just enough to start bleeding out. Die, Shane! This will be my finishing blow!"

Roundabout prepared a punch to the gut, but Shane blocked with Prince of the Universe. Roundabout's fist laid on POTU's two arms, stopped right there.

"You know, I finally branched out my abilities. POTU can absorb energy, so I just used it to freeze everything, but I can absorb your attack's kinetic energy and throw it right back at you, although it does take a lot of stamina.

"Shane. Gullible fool! I will strike before you can even rea-"

"Prince of the Universe, Ionic Freeze!"

Everything froze.

"From my excessive use of Prince of the Universe, I can finally freeze everything for 7 seconds. More than enough to punch you with enough force to eradicate a skyscraper!"

POTU punched a hole through Vulcan's abdomen.

"Although Roundabout can easily punch through someone's chest, POTU is still faster and more durable."

Vulcan stood there motionless with a furious expression.

"4 seconds have passed. 5 seconds have passed. 6 seconds have passed. 7 seconds have passed. May all action resume to its original state."

Vulcan went flying.

"Uraagh! Roundabout!"

Everything flew back to its original state. Vulcan was now walking behind Shane.

"You miserable slave. I can reverse time for 10 seconds and my ability is usable after a mere 20 seconds. Your ability requires a sort of cooldown in between uses that's extremely long so I hold the advantage!"

Roundabout chopped in reversed time as soon as the ability was about to end.

"Die, Shane!"

Everything resumed to its original state.
