After the battle, Tyson had brought Shane to a nearby hospital.  He tossed and turned but eventually woke up groggily with bandages wrapped around his body. A doctor walked into the room soon after.

"I see you're awake. Now, Tyson Bridges has already paid for your hospital bill. Would you like me to explain the injuries you had?"

"Tell me. I was asleep this whole time," Shane asked.

"You sustained a fractured disk in your back, your jaw was dislocated, and you had suffered from a punctured left lung."

"Great. I'm leaving now."

"Are you sure about that Mr. Shane?" The doctor asked.

"Yes."

Shane left the building but before he did, he asked the doctor where Tyson had gone.

"Tyson Bridges? Well, he's purchasing tickets to go to America. He said he wanted to have a normal life there. Oh and, I almost forgot to give you this."

The doctor had given a ticket to Shane that was for a steamboat that was departing for America.

"Tyson Bridges told me to give it to you. Have a safe voyage."

Shane took the ticket and finally stepped outside the building. He began to walk on the sidewalk to a bus station.

"Nearest station should be a few miles from here," Shane said as he walked.

A whistle in the air could be heard. Shane quickly turned around to find several black veins shoot out from a person in a cloak.

"Baki!?" Shane shouted.

"Shane. I am still in quite a weakened state after that pummeling you gave me," a familiar voice said.

Thoughts of Doyle flooded Shane's head.

"Bastard!"

Prince of the Universe went out to hit Baki in the face, but Baki quickly threw his cloak into Shane's face. He ran up to him and gave him a barrage of kicks.

"In my spare time, I had been practicing my empty-handed combat."

Baki gave Shane a straight swift kick to the face, nearly knocking him down.

"You see. After destroying every part of my body but my brain and heart, it took days to rebuild myself. If you had destroyed my brain however, I would have been food for the worms."

Shane now removed the cloak.

"Prince of the Universe, Ionic Freeze!"

Shane felt a sudden pressure build-up around him.

"I-I can't freeze everything for more than a few seconds! Could it be because of my weakened state?"

Prince of the Universe went to kick Baki, but he parried it with his bare hand and dashed up to Shane... He jabbed his hand into Shane's neck and spread his veins around. Prince of the Universe began to fade.

"Shane. Your blood gives me great energy! This is just what I needed to heal!"

Shane was stunned as his blood was being drained.

The veins are spreading to my brain! I have to do something quickly.

Finally, Baki dropped Shane.

"If you don't die from blood loss, you'll most certainly die from your neck wound. You'll leak out blood within a few minutes."

Shane ran up to Baki with Prince of the Universe.

"Ionic Freeze!"

Baki had put up his circular guard position again. Prince of the Universe tried to punch, but its fists went over the guard. Everything resumed.

"Weak, weak, weak, weak, weak!" Baki had screamed.

Baki gave Shane a final kick to the neck. A terrible snapping noise could be heard. Shane fell to the floor, struggling to breathe.

"I'll make sure none of your blood is wasted!"

Baki this time plunged his fist directly into Shane's chest and began to take the blood from his body. After several seconds, the job was done. Baki threw Shane's body into an alleyway to hide it and took his ticket for America.

"With Mother Mother, I can perfectly disguise myself as you. Farewell Italy."

Baki boarded the boat disguised as Shane. They went to America.
