The Lost Stories

Chapter 7

-It was the next day, it felt like everyday was the same my mom dropping my off to school and people insulting with names it didn't bother me as much as it use to. Except today it was different , when I started to walk in the hallways heading to my first period class, everyone kept looking at me as if they were scared or something and what was surprising , Jordan didn't bother me today he didn't even insult me not even when I went passed him he did not say one word. I actually could enjoy my day at school without any bullying or insults I was happy . It was 3rd period and I had biology , Mathew was in my class , as I sat down , he passed by me and dropped a note on my desk. I opened it and it read " meet me up after school by the gym " I turned back to look at him and I just nodded my head signaling to him that I'll be there. For the rest of the class as I was doing my class work I was thinking why Mathew would want to meet up with me, to me he seemed to be one of those mysterious type of guys with his long hair , he was thin like me didn't say much like me and stay in the back of the class most of the time just like me. It was weird , we didn't know each that well but yet I felt like me and him have known each other for years. I decided to stop wondering so much about him and everything I wasn't doing too well in school at the time so I decided to leave the thinking for home.
- It was lunch time and I went to the cafe , I went to the table that Kelly was sitting in with her other friends which were mostly girls. Then Kelly said " hey " with a beautiful smile to me and patted the seat next to her telling me to sit down so I did. After that, she introduced me to her friends they were 3 of them, I quickly noticed that her friends were one of them the people that always made fun of me. My face went from happy to pain upset when one of her friends said " Kelly I didn't know you were friends with the mute "  I just looked down embarrassed , her friends started to laugh at her joke about me except for Kelly she instead told her friend " Oh be quiet Samantha you leave him alone he's not a mute" her friend replied back " Oh so now you're defending this freak what is he your boyfriend now " as she said that my face turned instantly red. To the point where I got up and went to the bathroom. Kelly got up and told me to come back and not listen to her friends, but it was too late I already made my way to the bathroom. There was no one inside, just when I thought my day would go great without any insults or anything  people just keep bullying me and what made me even more upset that Kelly had to actually listen to what people have to say to me, I didn't want her to think I was a freak , mute or anything ! I got so upset that I said to myself I hate everyone , I went to the mirror and saw that my eyes turned to blue again as I looked at myself and I realized that lately I've been acting strange with the voices, the eye color, and the nightmares that at that point, I realized that people were right... I was a freak and I began to cry till the bell rang
-For the rest of the school day I just stayed quiet. I didn't even do my class work , David came to me asking if I'm alright I just gave him a stare and told him yea I'll be alright. At that point I didn't even know if I was really alright or not I just was sad and depressed the whole day.
-Finally, the last bell rang and everyone quickly went to their lockers and went home except for me I went to my locker got my stuff and went to the gym to meet up with Mathew. Once, I went to the gym the lights were shut off it was quiet. I walked slowly inside and started to look for Mathew, I called out his name but nothing for a moment I just thought he just pulled a prank on me, but then I felt a hand touch my shoulder, I quickly turned around in fear just to look at Mathew. I said " you scared me there where were you? "
- " I was sensing your presence"
- " what are you a magician ? " laughing
- He soon then grabbed my shirt and pushed me against the wall with enormous strength and he asked me " Don't mock me  I seen you around the school I seen what you can do how did you obtain the power ? "
- " What power ? " I said in fear
- " Don't play stupid with me , I know you have it within you tell me how did you get it !? "
- " I don't know what your talking about "
- Then he let me go and took a couple of steps away from me. I was on the ground trying to get up, but as soon as I got up I felt this choking  sensation. I was actually choking gasping for air. I looked at Mathew and he had his hand up and he was slowly closing it as if he was choking me mentally. At the moment I realized that I did the same thing to David in my dreams a couple of days ago then he asked me " Tell me how did you get it ?! "
- " I just heard a high pitch sound and I knocked out at the mountain !!! " were the words I could make out as I was choking.
- Just as Mathew was closing his hand more and more. He let me go once I told him about the sound. I fell to the ground breathing heavily. Then , he told me "  So they gave it to you too "
- " who ? " I asked desperately
- " I'm not exactly sure yet but I have an idea now . "
- I just stared at him for a moment and ask " do you mind telling me ". Then he looked at me and helped me up , he ignored my request and instead apologized for what he did and I said " its ok its not everyday you get choked like that " I laughed a little , but Mathew didn't he instead said " look now I know there's two of us here now we need to stay in together until the day comes " and I responded " what you mean when the day comes ? "
- " you're not exactly ready to know what is it yet you need to learn to control your ability "
- " Ok sure I'm just gonna go on Craigslist and look for a master who can show me how to control this ability you say I have" I said sarcastically
- Mathew said " I'll show you "
- " you're the same age as me I don't think thats how it works "
" do you want to learn or die ? "
" alright alright.. I'm not sure what exactly you're talking about when you say ability and where it comes from but I can hear voices , my eyes turn blue when I get mad or upset and I keep having these nightmares. "
- " thats normal for us at the beginning but I would like to know what your dreams are about, here's my email contract me when you get home don't let anyone else know about your ability we must keep this to ourselves got it ? "
- " ok .."
- " again I apologize for what I had to do but I need to know what I need to know "
- " its ok "
- Finally, the strange and horrible meet up with Mathew was over it wasn't exactly what I expected to be but I at least got an idea of what's been happening to me and why I've been feeling weird ever since the mountain with the sound. At least now I know I'm not the only one with this ability of some sort or whatever at least now I know I'm not the only freak ...
- I turned to Mathew but as I did he was gone. So I called my mom to pick me up and went home. I got a text from Kelly saying she's sorry about what happened in lunch today and stuff and I just texted back " I hope you don't think I'm a freak too ... "
- She replied back saying " you're not a freak to me you're different and I like that never forget that "
- With that text it made my night amazing. During that time I sent Mathew a message with the email he gave me all I said was " Before you begin teaching me to control myself I want to know everything you know about our ability you speak of ."
- He replied " Ok this Sunday I'll tell you everything I know . " and from then I fell asleep taking in everyday that happened today and what Mathew told me it was a lot but I was ready to know what really happened to me at the mountain and how it changed my life from this point ...
