The Lost Stories

Chapter 3

- It was Friday night finally beginning my weekend away from school well at least for 2 days. As always I went to sleep super late but, just before I went to sleep I release all the stress from school by well it's my dark secret so I can't tell but as the blood came pouring down my arm I covered it with some paper and wore my sweater so the cuts wouldn't be noticeable. Afterwards my phone began to ring, it was a number I didn't recognize but I didn't care so I answered " hello who's this?" And all I heard was..nothing just silence so I hung up thinking it was a prank call or something. Then I went to sleep.

- I woke up in the morning from the ringing of my phone it was David I answered the phone " ughh what is it David ?" He replied " hey Brian you wanna chill today at the spot with Mat ?" As always I didn't make any plans so I said " sure I'll meet you guys there in an hour". After ending the call I got up, took a shower , took a bagel with me to eat along the way and right before leaving the house I yelled out " Ma and Dad I'm gonna be out I'll be back before my curfew" and they respond " ok just be careful". So then I began walking to Garrett Mountain where our spot was and as I was eating my bagel along the way I began to have these images in my head it scared me because in the images I saw was me running away in the rain yelling out " Kelly !" and as I was running I kept hearing these voices the same voices I heard in my dreams telling me " you are the one " over and over again then I heard Mat's voice saying " You killed your enemies but this power also made you kill the ones you care about". I stood still for a minute and the images stopped and then an image of Kelly came to me and voice told me " you are the one kill her" and I yelled out in a monstrous voice " NO!!! ". Then a man in a car began to honk his horn at me yelling out " hey kids you alright? " his question bought me back to reality and I quickly turn my face to him kinda scaring him and I said " yes I'm fine sir thank you" then I think I freaked him out that when I answered he quickly left and I said to myself " of course everyone thinks I'm some kind of freak ". Then I just continued to walk up the mountain going to the close trails that led to our spot. After arriving at the spot no one was there so I thought to myself " I'm always the first one here and knowing Mat and David they would probably come late". So to keep me busy I sat down near the broken down train cart and began to smoke this new healthy cigarette called a " hookah pen" it wasn't really a drug it was just water vapor with fruit flavors that was shaped like a pen, smoking that made me calm down and as I was sitting down I stared at the little lake that was near the spot and there one fish just swimming freely as I watched it I felt its soul on my hands and I start to move my hand and as I moved my hand the fish followed the direction of my hand it was as if I was controlling the fish. I was so surprise I lost my breath in happiness , I lifted up my hand quick and the fish flip over the water and showed an amazing sparkle of water as it flipped it was beautiful and for some strange reason I felt this power in my hands at first it felt weird but then it felt good. As I well at least I thought controlling the fish's movement I said to myself " I've been feeling different ever since I last came up here .." And then a voice talked to me the same voice as in my dreams it said " Brian... You have it in you just let it take you over let it flow and control you " I stared at the ground my heart started pounding I felt strong as I kept staring to the ground and until I felt this power about to burst out like a balloon Mat and David called me " ayo Brian we're here ! "

- As I heard them everything in my mind and body began to relax the voice in my head was gone for the moment. Mat gave me a hard pat on the back making me fall, but Mat helped me back up he said " my bad bro I thought you were working out lately" I replied back " yea you just got me off guard" we all laughed. We decided to just hang out at the spot then go eat. As we were talking I noticed Mat and David kept laughing when the conversation got silent and I finally asked " what's up with you guys why are you laughing so much? " and David replied back giggling " didn't you get a call last night" and I said suspiciously " umm yea before I went to sleep this number called me I didn't recognize it but I answered it but when I did there was just silence so I though it was a prank call or something so I just hung up. ". Mat and David both stared at me for a moment then Mat said " so like she didn't say anything to you I guess she was shy" and I replied back in angry knowing who they were talking about " what you mean she ?!". And David replied back " well like Mat said he saw you staring at Kelly yesterday we decided to seal the deal with you two so we gave her your number". I just stared at both at them with this straight face which meant I was pissed off and Mat suggested " hey Brian sorry we were just trying to help" and I soon realize they were just trying to be good friends and then I said in sarcasm " alright bro i'll forgive you only if you guys buy me food at 711" and we laughed and they agreed. So then after we went to 711 to go eat like kings, then afterward we just took a walk around the mountain until it was 6pm and then began to head for my house.

- When we arrived at my house we just made it right before my curfew. We came inside my house talking loudly then my dad said in sarcasm " hey shut up!". We all laughed Mat and David greeted him with high fives then my mom said hello to me and gave me a kiss on my cheek, then we went up stair in my room to chill out for a bit. Then my dad yelled out from downstairs " hey you guys are more than welcome to stay the night here just asked your parents !". After Mat and David called their parents agreeing to let them stay the night David immediately fell asleep on my bed and I told Mat " well i'm guessing I have to sleep on the couch again ! ". After that right before Mat went to sleep he suggest that I call back Kelly tomorrow to talk to her and say sorry for hanging up on her and well knowing me I felt bad so I decided to call her tomorrow morning I was kinda shy she had looks of an angel once you see her you can't get your eyes off of her and to be honest I kinda had a little crush on her. Everyone went to sleep and so did I but, before I went to sleep I was thinking of a way of not sounding like an idiot when I talk to Kelly tomorrow morning as I was thinking of that I also thought about those images I saw yesterday today I asked myself " is what I saw today a future event that's gonna happen to me or just another dream ..."
