The loud horn sound marked the day of Bloody Sunday, everyone in the state was running away and escaping to survive. Gun sounds could be heard, many screams of the children could be heard as the Armed forces held them captive. The whole nation was in chaos. As soon as the atomic bomb landed, Marcus pushed his younger brothers, Bryan and Jeral down the burrow. As the two police officers brought him back to screening at the'Death Station', he denied that he had 2 younger brothers, knowing that the officers will murder his two brothers as well, at the same time lying was a death penalty in the 'Death Station'. He didn't wanted to die an early death, neither did he want to see his two brothers getting killed. Marcus knew he had to sacrifice his life. The police officers didn't spare Marcus despite him only being a 13 year old student. He was electrocuted by heating water.

Meanwhile, Bryan and Jeral continued to hide in the burrow. Bryan was lost, his brother Jeral kept asking him what's happening, Bryan didn't dare to talk, as there were still police officers roaming outside their burrow. The two brothers lived in the burrow for 4 days with terror. Just then, both of them heard someone calling out to them from the top, they shivered. "What are the two of you doing down there?" A lady dressed in an officer's clothing asked...

At the same state, 2 sisters, Alexandra and Joey were running for their lives as instructed by their parents. Girls were to be made white slaves to the Armed forces when they are caught. Joey, being a crippled 16 year old with only one limb limped across the huge junction, with her 7 year old sister Alexandra on her back. She limped harder as she saw a van approaching them. Unfortunately, Joey tripped on a kerb and fell with Alexandra landing on the ground. Just as Joey managed to get on her foot again, the van sped up and crashed onto the two sisters. Alexandra started calling out to her unconsious sister countless times, but her sister did not respond, soon Joey passed away on the road. A few seconds later, Alexandra also passed out. A lady came out of the van and was traumatised to see the two sisters lying unconsious with one of them dead. She took Alexandra and covered her in a canopy and threw her at the boot of her van. After doing so, she dumped Joey in the river nearby, as the lady was afraid of being prosecuted.
