i watched mia walk in with her organge jail suit on with cuffs around her arms

she smiled as she sat across from me

i didn't know what to say all i could  do was look at her as my body filled with anger and sadness

" i thought you hated me " . she sniffed

i just sat there looking at her

she laughed softly looking away " why'd you come if your not gonna talk to me " .

i shrugged " i don't know what to say " .

" why'd you lie to me about the money mia " ?

" i thought if i went to college again things would just get better for me " .
