"Hey Li, what's up?" The voice said happily through the phone.
Liam wanted to respond but couldn't physically get the words out. His throat felt tight and his head was going a million miles an hour. "Liam?" The voice said nervously. "What's wrong?" The voice added.
Liam finally brought in a shaky breath. "I need you to come pick me up . I can't stay in this house." He said through broken sobs muffled by his own hands.
"Okay, just take a breath. Tell me what happened." The voice said slowly and calmly. It made Liam feel so comfortable and safe. Like the boy had practically been there the whole time, hugging him, blocking out the rest of the world.
"Niall...I can't right now, I need time to think, I need you. Please just come and get me." Liam huffed sadly as he slid on a pair of jeans as he threw his tracksuit pants to the washing basket in the corner of the the room.
"I'll be there in 20." The Irish boy hummed sweetly, hoping to calm his crying boyfriend. "Love you."
"I love you too." Liam said quietly, almost breaking out of the sobs for a moment. "And just don't come inside." Liam quickly added before hanging up and throwing his phone onto the bed.
He let hot tears slip down his face as he collapsed onto the king sized bed. The sleeves of his hoodie automatically becoming tissues rubbing the moisture of his face making his gentle skin slightly burn.
Liam mentally scolded himself out, He shouldn't have been crying because he knew Louis didn't have control over the anger but it still hurt that his best friend would do that to him. It hurt more because Liam was always the one that calmed him down.
The Wolverhampton boy wasn't angry but he was upset. He just needed to get away and let himself think, just for a minute, so he could think straight.
Niall still didn't know anything about Louis, So he was probably more than confused of why he kept having these outbursts but Liam decided he was going to tell him. He had to. He was hurting and he needed to talk to someone.
He became lost in his thoughts as the tears on his face slowly dried. Eventually his brain was so fogged over he felt as if he was asleep yet still awake. His phone let out a quiet ding startling Him from his daze.
"I'm out the front :)"
How was Niall so happy all the time? How was he so lucky? Liam thought letting a tight smile slip onto his lips.
Pushing his phone into his back pocket he ran down the stairs hoping neither Harry or Louis would see him. Luckily he heard both their voices in the kitchen. They were yelling. It hurt Liam to hear them fighting, a part of him wanted to go and comfort both of them but the other part wanted to yell at Louis as well.
He quickly rushed out the door before he could change his mind, making sure to shut the door gently. Liam smiled when he saw the black Range Rover sitting in the driveway, the window down to revel a very confused looking niall.
The brown eyed boy avoided eye contact realising his eyes would be rimmed red and cheeks would be puffy. The brunette silently got in the car, keeping his head down.
"Liam, Seriously tell me what happened!" The blonde snapped as he turned to the boy. "You look like shit! Tell me how to help." He said, his tone softening as he spoke. The anger changing to concern.
Liam burrowed his head in his hands rubbing his eyes another time. "Louis tried to throw a glass at me." He whispered, the word barely being audible.
Niall immediately furrowing his eyebrows and looking to his boyfriend with nothing but shock and anger. "No. You don't understand." Liam said hurriedly.
