Sheesh Mahal, Lucknow
It had been three hours since the whole of Guptas and Raizadas arrived at Sheesh Mahal. It was an old palace that belonged to both the families, as the seniors had bought it together in the initial days when their business flourished. They did not sell it as there was never any need. Their bond increased day by day that the palace had become an important and most memorable one for them.
'Finally, I feel home', Devyani sighed taking her seat, reminiscing the memories attached with this palace.
'I am proud of the kids that they chose this place for their wedding', Jagdish agreed.
'After all we had grown up here Nanu', Arnav said while the others readily agreed.
'So I have decided, we will be leaving for a small tour around the town! Just to relive the moments!' Akash suggested.
'Perfect! First, we shall go to the golgappa stall and have lots of them. Ramu kaka is the best in the town!' Adi agreed.
'Haan, we shall then go get the Jalebi from the nearby shop', Khushi was too much excited for the outing. How can she miss her Jalebi!
'I thought you had refrained yourself from having them', Adi wondered aloud.
'I did not cut them down Adi. Its just that I have reduced the number I eat!' Khushi admitted.
'Yeah, from 100 to 99', Adi scoffed earning a glare from Khushi, while others laughed at their banter!
'Foodies! Will you ever think of something else other than food?' Pankhuri asked laughing, clearly aware of their love towards food.
'Oi! You are fat does not mean that we should stop eating! Shaadi teri ho rahi hai, dieting tum karlo! Thodi pathli dikhoge photos mein', Adi taunted Pankhuri. (You are the one getting married, so you diet! You will look slim in the photos)
'Mein moti hoon! Mein moti hoon!' Pankhuri was surely irked by his statement and hence chased him around the house while poor Adi was running, escaping from her.
(Am I fat? Am I fat?)'Arre sach hi toh kaha maine! Itna maar kyun rahi ho?' Adi yelled dodging the small pillow that landed near him. (I was just stating the fact, why are you beating me so much?)
The others just remained the spectators as the two best friends kept their fight going on, finally running out of the mansion.
'These two will never change!' Anjali mused.
'Yeah, even after knowing the consequences of calling a girl fat, Adi really had some guts to utter that', Shyam said, but in a low voice, so that Anjali could not hear him.
Poor him! Unfortunately, she heard it!
'Shyam, you mean to say I am fat?' She asked throwing him some serious glares.
'No baby! I dint mean you. I just meant generally', Shyam tried to cover up.
'I am included in that general women', she stomped her foot.
'Anjali, Anju listen! I dint mention you. I just stated the fact!' Shyam said only to realise his folly again! 'Shit' he cursed, for even saying that.
'So you mean to say that we girls are actually fat? I did not expect this from you Shyam', Anjali said disappointed, while Shyam followed her to convince. It was a tough task to convince your wife. His stupid, idiotic tongue that could not keep itself in control!
